Benny was so great. One of the funniest men who ever lived I think. What was so great about Benny and his show was that it appealed to all. I mean the English, Americans, Russians just all over the world. And young and old from children to the elderly. Just great. A legend.
My gran thought Benny Hill was vulgar and wouldn't watch the show. We begged ger to watch it with us one day, and she quickly admitted he was a brilliant impersonator/comedian. The smut was just a small part of the show that the media highlighted.
Benny had his cheeky warm smile since he was a little boy, and never let go of it. And that's just so adorable!! RIP Benny!
