Avalanche w/ heli rescue - ruptured ACL skiing Courmayeur Italy 2016

Skiing the Canale De Cesso in Italy we are caught in an avalanche caused by the people above us. We survive the slide but the rescue becomes tricky as a storm moves in and the challenges continue to pile on.

Hi! What was that day avalanche risk?

I think it was a 3 out of 5 that day. So moderate which is kinda standard for that environment in Feb.
