True lol. But a lot of players haven't heard of those old updates or have forgotten about them, it's nice to go back in time sometimes :)

I started playing less than a month ago, I'm level 134 and struggling. Most of the thing's I learned was on this channel and I appreciate it a lot. Seeing this old events give me hope for some new stuff to do, but at the same time, sad I missed this fun.
I think it’s more kicking the devs saying wake up, we need these things back.
I actually feel like going to their office and asking wtf is going on?
Echo mining base defence was so much fun - I remember grinding so many minerals and alloys before they hotfixed the costs. Was a super cheap way to get some rare goodies including purple cards, atv transmissions, lead, cement etc. Similar to mercenaries also had those guys you could hire who helped you with the defence.
RIP LDOE. So much potential, such lazy, incompetent developers that don't deserve the game they are in charge of.

If they re add mercenaries it should be introduced by the player meeting his sibling in the crater and uniting.
Another awesome video man and wow those old events looked really cool shame I missed out on those I wish they would bring them back or something similar it would be nice to experience something like that in the game or even bring something like that to the event calendar so we have something cool to do instead of doing the same thing over and over but hopefully they will bring something cool like that out again and I didn't mind those acts shame they but so much work into something and then remove it but hopefully we get something soon well done man see you in the next one 👍

I loved the old approach that we had with the acts and 7 random early player "missions", as it gave you a sense of freedom and connection to the world that you were playing in that we dont have anymore.
Currently, progression is forced into one direction through the survivors path and levels you have to reach to enter locations that we didnt have back in the day.
Essentially, we went from Open World to RPG only :(
I'd like to see the locations from the acts come back in a way. If Kefir is worried about crowding the map they could make a crossroads location that acts like the highway where you get to it through the gas station. Like the Trader Joe location that was in the act. Once you get to that location you could access other locations from there. Kefir already has the ability to do that with the gas station. Would be a fun way to play all those act locations. A crossroads location would be like a bunker, just outside locations rather than underground. Maybe to make it worthwhile you could trade loot with Joe for special rewards, like the system with the mechanic at the gas station. Kefir, if you're listening. This would be a way to add a lot of content, you have the locations built, just stitch them together into one accessible location..

I've always enjoyed the Christmas updates from LDOE, but my favorite was when I was semi new to the game, and we could fight the big one with some kind of eggnog perk and other Christmas treats. My memory of that event is really foggy lol

Fort moss was just very expensive but it was good
Prison really needs to comeback it was the best update for sure (calender event or permanent location)

I will completly return to LDOE if they add back old mercinaries. I still remember my mercinary named "Woods", like from CoD Bo1 and he helped me to fully clean Bunker alfa for the first time.

If the prison were to come back they'd have to change thos tokens you get into a currency instead of an item to prevent cheaters from duping them into the thousands

Fort Moss, The Echo Waves, and Merceneries could've all been layers of the settlement - along with acts - would've been an INCREDIBLE aspect of the game. Even though the Acts roll-out was slow. It felt like there was an actual story, and reasons worth progressing. Uhg. Hey, at least they re-vamped the shop!!!!!! (gross)

I miss basements now. Not seen one in a while. And they were kinda goop. But, atleast you had some variety. Oh, and I miss my ATV. Bad game transfer. Never got it back and now its gonna take a long time. How come the developers do not have the ATV wheels in either the events or the seasons? I would spend money to get it back. Instead they are supposed to be in Cravo. I have cleared it several times now and still ZERO atv wheels. I only clear if its availiable during seasons. Since it less expensive. And, Zero gas cylinders. Frustrating.
For real, they should get them back, I didn’t like the game anymore because is boring playing alone ln the base, at least a npc helping us would be great and make the game better
