How to Restore and Install New Tires for Band Saw

How to change band saw tires without removing the wheels saves quite a bit of time. I show that is not difficult and show the installation in real time installing the new urethane tires. Once completed the band saw runs smoother and quieter than before. The upgrade was well worth doing. Restoring this old band saw was a lot of fun. I’m happy to pass it on to my son as my Father passed it to me.

Very helpful video! I replaced mine a couple of years ago. When I went to check the original tires, they were lying inside the bandsaw in pieces because it had been sitting unused for several years. I will definitely refer to this video the next time I have to change them!
