  • Join Emmi on a fascinating London walk through St James’s Park to uncover hidden gems and delve into the rich history this famous Royal Park and the surrounding area. Don't miss out on exploring the iconic Pall Mall, St James’s Square, Queen Anne’s Gate and 55 Broadway London’s first skyscraper. On this tour there is lots of interesting and fun woman’s history to uncover, learn about the Suffragette’s and the pioneering men and woman that lived and worked in the area.
Welcome to Project Womble. I do POV London Walks and Tours. I’m on a mission to visit and explore every station on the London Underground. I love London. I love history, architecture, music, art, streetart, Pie and Mash and all things London. I especially love anything quirky and there’s always something interesting to find on a London Walk.
Royal scandals, famous Londoners, medieval markets, architectural marvels, woman’s history, literary history, London film locations, classic London pubs, listed buildings and iconic London landmarks each step reveals a new layer of history waiting to be discovered.
I love the quieter side of non-touristy London so if you are looking for something new then you are likely to find it here as I like to explore the parts of London the tourists don’t usually visit.
I love walking and I map my walks on the Go Jauntly app and document my London travels on You Tube and Instagram so if you are after some guided walking maps and tours of London you are in the right place. I like to go on the hunt for blue plaques. I’m a big advocate for exploring London on foot and have learned lots of little footways and cut throughs over the years.
I start all my walks at a London Underground station and take a leisurely stroll around the local area to see what I can find and then I report back my findings. Whether you are a London tourist, a London visitor, a London commuter or a London resident you’ll find something interesting here so hop on board the Womble train and follow along with Project Womble it’ll be great to have you aboard.

Thank you. Absolutely brilliant. I work near this area and I have spotted some of the things that you mentioned but I have learned so much. 😊

I've not explored St James much. I've passed the Palace (where all foreign ambassadors are accredited to apparently) and bits of Pall Mall. Looks a good area for exploring!!
