If MY Ulysses/Andromeda and REV had a baby, this would certainly be it!
Well the Ulysses and the Andromeda are almost the same ship, so that would be inbreeding, and this looks like inbred offspring, so I guess you're right.
But, I guess if this is primarily intended as a research vessel, it's understandable that it's looks aren't quite as appealing. It's still better than the shore hopper fiberglass yachts.
i certainly thought the same thing. well, not as an offspring of those two ships as they are basically siblings. but definitely a cross between M/Y Andromeda and the OSV Magne Viking or a ship with the viking's design
Cool😎👍🏻 Awesome video from helicopter. Cheers DrDuu
This is beautiful
It's currently in the azores, middle of atlantic!
Thanks interesting for scientific exploration and oceanographic engineer.
Very nice vessel!!
The Rev Ocean looks like it is going to be amazing too once it is built. In the meantime its website is pretty interesting.
Bro this came to the maldives Fuvahmulah Island to do some research on water I think and I saw it when I was at the beach :O
I just watched them land their chopper on the fore deck, full sized helo, very cool
Just seen in mallorca porte d'Andratx!
Just seen in Monaco!✨
What's up with that mast in the middle of the helipad? Is it retractable?
This ship is currently docked at the marina in Riviera Beach, Florida. I’ve been seeing it repeatedly over the last couple of weeks. I desperately want to get aboard it for a tour. I wonder if one is offered.
Saw it today going through the inlet with it's crane up.
No harm in asking for a tour sure they'll let ya
Very nice. However, I think any global research vessel should have a helicopter hanger which will allow flight ops in any part of the world.
It has a hangar
43 seconds in you see the door open to the hangar, the hangar door itself is a huge hydraulic clamshell door
@@peterfielding4417 You're right. It even says HELO on it.
@@peterfielding4417 I’m not familiar with this. Are you saying that something opens up and a helicopter is brought inside, away from the helipad?
@@peacefuljeffrey yes that is correct there is a huge hydraulic door
Very beautiful
What song is this?
So basically just flying around and looking at the ship?
what song is this?
Call on Me (STRLGHT Remix) (Instrumental Version)
@@den4199 Thankyou.
This came today
How many sea griffin missiles can this carry?
What is a tall mast doing on the helipad?
Seems the helicopter landing pad is too small for a pilot light tower to be right smack in the middle of it? Shouldn't they have at least offset it to the side? A helicopter pilot will have enough trouble landing in such a confined space without getting distracted by how close he is to that tower.
The light tower is retractable
You not leaving the we's
Ha ha ha
