Yeah you’re surprised people request stuff from the time he made better music? Yeah, he’s more technically complex now but that doesn’t = better music. There’s to music than just that, and I’m also not saying his music now is bad it’s just not as good. Which is okay, he’s older now it’s expected.
@@Sokkq funny how you say the "music" was "better" (completely subjective), but then admit that he is objectively better when it comes to lyricism (the only thing that should matter when judging a lyricists work).. You vibe with his old era music that has surface level lyricism but "smoother" (mostly Dre) production, that's cool. I think it's funny to keep requesting music that everyone has heard for decades when Em is objectively better than he ever was lol. Mmlp2 shots on mmlp lyrically. Objectively. You like the messaging & vibe of mmlp mpre, cool. But it isn't lyrically on par & when it comes to eminem, I only care about the lyrics. Idk if there is a beat or no beat. I'll go listen to other genres of music for a vibe, because rap ain't it. I only look at rap genre for their higher level lyricism than other genres.

Not my fault you don’t but it’s clear others do seeing as how it’s a pretty common opinion that old ems music was better. Em is better at the technical aspect of lyricism now but he’s worse at other aspects that old em was better at. So this goes both ways. Even right now ever since side a/b he’s been relying on a lot of similes(weakest form of wordplay imo), puns, and double/triple entendres that aren’t actually about anything meaningful but just there for the sake of it. His verses rn will sound like a jumbled mess rather than something with cohesion because of that. Obviously he always some moments/songs now that are great because it’s em, but he’s not consistent at all.
@@Sokkq the sound is subjective was the point. You act as if ypur subjective opinion is true. The only thing that is true is that he is much more lyrically inclined now. As a said, you wanna vibe with mmlp over mmlp2 (because you care more about sound & ypur feelings rather than the lyrical meat & potatoes), that's on you... don't call his old music better when that is simply your opinion. State it's just an opinion & that that means it's preference. Not a statement of "what is better"
