I need to make this. I love your creativity.
I’ve been putting my tape on the chipboard before adhering the liner. Before I lay down the liner, I lightly run my finger blade down the spine gaps to slice the tape there. Not hard enough to hit the cover paper, though. It seems when I loosen that tape in the spine gaps, I get much cleaner seams once I put the liner on and smooth those gap “seams”. I hope I explained that well enough. I used to make those caps too narrow, too, especially when using a little heavier paper. Now, definitely 1/8”. Bottom line, though…I learned my techniques from you, Sherry!
