I heard that birds dont perceive time the sane way as us because their heart beats so fast. So when they fly in formation to them it's like walking ... they just follow the leader like humans in a big group.
@@theeggtimertictic1136 That's a great theory, also they fly by the rule of seven, each one pays attention to those at all points immediately around them. It means that no bird crowds the next. How they all turn and take off together is fascinating! Almost psychic.
The general consensus by scientists who study birds used to be that the birds followed a skilled leader who they followed in synch with his/her every move. However, I read an article published online that reported scientist watching the birds closely through special lenses and in recorded playback they discovered something more amazing than the leader of the flock theory. Apparently, birds are entirely democratic. They somehow vote very quickly about what turns or new directions to take. In their observations of the birds and bird in the flock can make a "suggestion" by turning slightly in a new direction, the birds nearest to him will in a split second "vote" to follow him for that one decision and down the line the voting goes as each bird elects to follow the new lead. Sometimes the bird who makes a suggestion to the others will be voted down and another suggester will be followed. There is no set leader, it would seem in their democracy anyone can be the president if only for a tiny moment in time. Perhaps they know something we don't?
..They somehow vote very quickly about..- that explanation is just a romantic poetic BS. this is called the (birdoid), each bird try to stay as near as possible to his 3 neighbors, computers on this day and age can simulate this, drones too. Clever..no wonders it's mother nature
wow the sound of the wings!!!! Awesome!! I've often seen videos of starling murmations but they're usually put to music and so you don't get to hear the wings and I feel hearing the wings is such an important part of it. I would love to hear the whooshing of their wings overhead and you've got it here. It sounds amazing!
Used to see formation of Starlings years ago in Birmingham. They would gather in the old BSA factory site because of the heat.It was a wonderful scene but gone now the factory has closed.Great memories, thanks
THAT is the power of the Holy Spirit, you can find it everywhere even the sea. Watch other videos of murmurs and in the air you will see them take the shape of sea creatures. Yes, God has the power to link birds' minds to the creatures of the sea. The closer we get to God, the more of his Glory we will experience.
Por emcrivo gue pareça o Brasil esta precisando dua cena dessa A empedeminha de coronasviros chegou agora i mesmo assim tem gente achando que é brincando vai ter que senti na pele
That is just awesome!!! I wonder, if you can get inside this living cloud, will you be also lifted? Great footage, Paul! Thank you for sharing this startling experience. :)
Me and my friends would take our birds (we did falconry) and let our birds get some. I had I northern goshawk, someone had a grey falcon, and the other one had an american kesteral. There were a few wild predatory birds. It was a free for all so no one fought over them. We were having a contest to see which bird brought back more birds at the end of the day and mine won with 32 kills. Second place was 28 for the falcon. and 23 for the kesteral.
Julio becerra iglesias Good question......who programmed the Aeroplane??who programed the computer??lets just say they both evolved from simple to complex states by forces of Nature....if u leave ua computer for sooo long on its on it will evolve n become somethng else much better in technology.....😅😅😅😅😅😅.surely who is silly enough to buy those lies.???Many pple.Everythng has a creator and we know who created the order we see now on earth...
How amazing they don't collide into each other. Thank you.

Some of the best (and closest) Starling footage ever seen. Be sure to send this to the local ornothologists.
Thank you starlings for this beautiful ballet . And thank you Mr Dinning too .
Unglaublich, auch ein kurzes Verweilen auf dem Acker gehört zur "Choreographie",
fliegen landen sitzen fliegen, sagenhaft !!!!! Herrlich. Ernst Lustig
Truly incredible!.birds of a feather flock together.
All sharing the same energy...of one mind. beautiful!
I've never seen a murmuration of Starlings so big! I've only seen murmurations of...I don't know, maybe 50 at most? This is stunning. Love it.

I LOVE how most or all ot them move in unison ❤
I Love this Birds!!!
Beautiful! Well done.
Watching an individual bird landing and taking off again is really most extraordinary - almost more so than the coordinated aerial acrobatics
