I loved what Diplo said about not caring about authenticity. i think in every genre people get too obsessed with people being real. If music is good and it touches you and makes you feel something then who cares who is doing it.

Thank You finally someone recognizes it the society is so focused on putting you in the group you belong to for example people say if you rap its hip hop if you used to be in punk rock stay in that place but what if you want to expand alot of people believe that you need to only stay with your group of people and not try to change anything the world needs a little change i'm not gonna sit and preach about how the world is going down the drain because even i sometimes do terrible things but what i dont understand is why cant we just make others feel good and just be free if it feels good endulge in the feeling because at the end of the day the only one you are supposed to please is your self and another thing why would you dislike or hate something just because its not what you're used to take a chance or you will be stuck in an old track replaying the same words what is so scary about taking a chance and a risk if you fail you failed but if want to stay in your winning stage you will get tired of it because you never won if you never failed and you'll never fly if you never jumped so try something new if music and art and all the other stuff make you happy then let your weird little heart flutter because dying sad is an eternity of misery and dying happy and satisfied is an eternity of joy and happy memories alot of you dont have to agree but its the truth and i love music of all type because there is happiness every where

He's a genius at sound design but even diplo is really good in fact they sound more or less the same and I think diplo has influenced skrillex music lately but yeah skrillex is kind of the best but I like both of them. I really enjoyed this interview, especially Ebro's sentiment about EDM artists like diplo actually being an excellent example of progressive hip hop. I think a lot of great points were made and I think it's time for "hip hop heads" to start embracing the new shit out there like RockyTravis Scott or Ratking because they're slowly pushing things forward for the culture. Rappers like Joey Badass, J.Cole, Logic etc. are great too as far as keeping the "old school" vibes alive
