Love Southwest, why don't they fly to Toronto Pearson?

I’ve flown into a lot of places. Vegas is probably my favorite. The mountains, the strip, the pitch black desert. There also is the Grand Canyon and the crater. It’s just a good flight. Tampa in the summer is also pretty good.

I agree- super fun airport to fully into - especially at night

Love flying into vegas. The turn for approach when the city comes into is awesome. Wife and I flew in with extremely strong winds. You could see sand and dirt coming from the desert. We held on for the last 30 minutes of the flight….scary. 2 hours after we landed they closed the airport. Pucker factor much?

What are those red things on the runway at 4:52?

Not a pilot here- but they look like warning lights so you don’t go that direction. Does anyone else know for sure??

Hello! To answer your question regarding the flashing red lights. Yes you would be right to assume that flashing red means you must use caution for a potential danger.
This is FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) official definition:
      Runway Entrance Lights (REL)
They sit parallel to and focused along the taxiway centerline at the hold line. When activated, the red lights indicate that there is high-speed traffic on the runway or there is an aircraft on final approach within the activation area.
In simple terms: It prevent the pilot from accidentally turning into oncoming landing traffic. At night there are so many taxiways, runways and at larger airports even vehicle roads that it would be quite an easy error to make after exiting the runway and looking for your next turn.
      Hope this helps!
