Thanks for the video! Here’s how I usually deal with MidJourney generated art: 1 - generate, 2 - remove defects in photoshop (you can use brush and eraser, and if it’s a flat 2d vector it’s actually a lot easier and faster than working with vectors) 3 - upscale online, there are websites that use ai models to upscale, so whatever work I do in photoshop all kind of blends in nicer. Sometimes I upscale first, then remove defects, but I trace image (convert to vector) last thing for print ready resolution. I usually use Corel for tracing. Image trace works better the higher the resolution of the image, hence this step is the last one. That’s what usually works for me

Thank you for sharing your process! It's great to see how you make use of AI-generated art and refine it to create high-quality designs for print-on-demand. Your approach demonstrates a thoughtful balance of using AI tools and human creativity to achieve the best results.
For those who are new to this workflow, here's a summary of the steps you mentioned:
Generate AI-generated art using a platform like MidJourney.
Remove defects and refine the image using Photoshop or another image editing software. This step may involve using brushes, erasers, or other tools for cleaning up the design.
Upscale the image using AI-based online tools to enhance the resolution and make the design blend in more smoothly.
Convert the refined image to a vector format using software like CorelDRAW, ensuring it's print-ready with high resolution.
Your method is an excellent example of how AI-generated content can be combined with human expertise to produce unique and high-quality designs for print-on-demand businesses.

😊😊 comment 😊😊🎉🎉 fun must be. Really good overview. I train my self with a lot of vods. Was the first of you and will come back. Of course there are much more options, but I think the core is a good description .

Awesome! I really learned something new today to make my AI artwork much better quality and unqiue than the original artwork from Midjourney. Thanks

I usually import the original image to the Procreate (ipad) and fix it ( especially fingers or so) then upscale it

Never used Procreate, I will look into it.

I asked Jasper to make me kitties and flowers. Sounds sweet and innocent, right? One of the cats had three eyes.. 😂 poor little creepy gruesome thing..nightmaresh.

Can u suggest about better way. First step - upscale the image and second - correct the defects or vice versa?

    • @rmas
      @rmas  Před rokem +1

upscale and after correct the defetcs. if you do it the other way around, you might see more defects where you corrected them

This process will take time and the quality is still not great. Much better if you redraw the whole artwork with new line art and the coloring will take less time to do.

    • @rmas

Thank you for sharing your opinion. While it's true that redrawing the entire artwork can result in higher quality, it may not always be the most practical or efficient option for every project. The methods I presented - converting to vector, upscaling in Photoshop, and using online tools - can be effective ways to quickly improve the resolution and quality of existing artwork. Additionally, these techniques can be combined with other methods, such as manually touching up the image, to achieve even better results. Ultimately, the best approach will depend on the specific project requirements and constraints. I appreciate your feedback and welcome any further suggestions or ideas.

It is perhaps easier when you learned it to be good in Photoshop or illustrator or such. But when you started with promting I think in most cases the producer issnt able to. Then you need other methods.
