The clone trooper grand army of the republic reinforcements deploy in the battlefield against the battle droid army super fortress defense which was recently toppled by them and General Grievous. This was made using the men of war assault squad 2 star wars galaxy at war mod battle simulator.

Yeah lately his views have been weirdly down, he mentioned it. Apparently subscribers haven’t been getting notified, combined with people taking college courses in the early months of the year
I think If Daley does more of the campaign games, like Fall of the republic, or the WWI game he showed earlier. It will attract more people as well as keep them interested.
I think he just posts too much. If you look at PA he only posts every 3 days so when he does it blows up. Daley just has too many videos so people get bored despite the videos being absolutely awesome.

Glad to see some men of war Star Wars mod especially clone wars era videos starting to return, also I like the new men of war star wars mod, has same qualities as the old battle simulator and has more features like dulling lightsabers, venators etc.
Dang. That was close. I am guessing that the Clones could have more easily over come defender's advantage had a whole bunch not gotten glitch stuck at the start, but I suppose that the same could be said regarding the Droids in the previous video.
But the droids never had a defenders advantage since all of them were free movers, none were in good defensive positions

Captain rex got knocked out right also Daley since the 212th and 187th are wiped out including their leaders and ventress and grievous are dead you should continue this series as the larger clone wars seeing as the timeline would significantly be different

This was an absolute blood bath. You can just imaging the clones going into that prison and seeing a sea of their fellow soldiers bodies.
Only thing I don’t like is when you see the AI being silly and you don’t move them in a position that’s not so much an advantage but at least unstuck so one side doesn’t get floored

Honestly, would've been better to keep clone prisoners behind a door that the rescuers could unlock, then have a bunch of weapons in a pile ready for them
Yeah, but I would say it is a trade-off for the fact that the entire droid army was on free move mode, so they goofed around, and he had ventress and grievous just charge out and die instantly

Funnily enough droids executing clones is pretty infrequent in universe, usually the opposite happens
It would make it more interesting if you helped the AI when it decides to derp and cluster troops in useless areas because the way finding won’t get better. And not doing it after the battle goes south. Also makes quite unrealistic.

I'm going to say I love your videos I like when you write stories for each one. Can you do a war campaign where you track the factions resources and the outcomes of the battles change the next battles perimeters. Like clones lost a fight but some escaped so now they have to hold off the droids until the clone reinforcements get there. It will make the battles more tactical because the resources are finite example could be droids brought 4 tanks but lost 2 and had 1 badly damaged the clones lost 4 tanks so the next fight the droids have 2 tanks and what's left of the troops and the clones that come in will have to take into account they lost 4 tanks can they afford to use the tanks or should they try to destroy the tanks of the enemy to gain scraps for repurpose. Ect
That would work if he ever retreated the droids. He will just charge all of the droids into their deaths for no reason, but he will go to any lengths to get the clones out, usually involving a gunship which he proceeds to kill a good few droids with.
@@tk-6967 I understand that the clones are of course the "good guys" (I use quotation marks since it's really a political opinion on who's right or wrong" and I get the idea that droids are expendable but metal is not infinite it would be stupid to waste scrap if not just to have the retreating forces repurposed for tanks I don't think a military leader would say oh I still have a battalion of men I can use but have no chance surviving head on I should have them abandon cover and eat bullets. I personally see a plothole with the dumb clankas concept since the commander droids are desribed in lore as super computers that are linked up and have the ability to issue commands in nanoseconds. The idea that humans although genetically "perfect" could compete on a communication standpoint is silly a human can react in milliseconds sure but not when talking and orders need to be concise hand movements make it faster but you still have to move to issue orders the "remote controlled" and that's canon lore droids with direct links to their commander means there is no chance for error on command no chance for the droids to not report information. An army is only as powerful as it's communication. Humans need radio sets droids send a line of zeros and ones and boom they move with a mission. I love the clones but the reason they win most of the time in star wars is because the plot demands it. Like how stormtroopers seem stupid and can't hit anything but are somehow a feared and respected military force that people obey for whatever reason they have.

The idea that they are dumb makes no sense because they are canonically remote controlled by the supercomputers, They receive information faster and can send it faster and react faster, Clones are limited as humans in how they communicate with hand signals or verbal commands, making decision making significantly slower than the droids can. The only reason that in the shows they lose against the clones is because of plot armor. Akin to how stormtroopers are bad at shooting in the movies because it wouldn't be a long movie if they get blasted in the first few moments of a firefight,but in the lore they are marksmen and professional soldiers. I'm working on my punctuation it's my bad habit I apologize if it was confusing to read

I just wish he wouldn’t let the ai do whatever, bc it is dumb, there’s no reason why half the clones should be “stuck” and not in the battle. I get letting them do whatever but he should do some adjustments when needed to still make it feel like a somewhat real battle
I love these videos but it’s annoying that the droids and clones bug out and you move them when they start to go down instead mid battle, you also should’ve moved all the droids out of that wall it wouldn’t made it more even

They can fight with their fists. But the game is pretty clunky, and its age is showing, hence why everyone wants the mod to be moved to Gates of Hell Ostfront and potentially Men of War 2, which will be coming out soon.

I know it was more for drama than anything else, but setting up all of the (unarmed) clones and Jedi to just get executed was a mistake. It added nothing to the battle strategically or narratively.
If you had made like 1 in 5 clones armed with "hidden" blasters, it could have been said that the clones managed to sneak in a few weapons and then started their escape attempt.
Unfortunately, all your scenario did was confuse and disappoint me as to why you even bothered to add them in the first place if they were just going to die with absolutely no chance to add anything to the fight.
Don't get me wrong: I generally love your videos. I've been a subscriber for several years and you usually provide great narratives to your videos. However, this video really disappointed me with that opening massacre.
