that was the perfect prompt for zac LMAO
he’s so good at this haha
It's a perfect prompt of them lol Zac coming from left field at all times, and Vic just being able to roll those awkward punches with an extreme straightman.
You know I don't think she was acting after the first question.
He has a great NPR voice
I agree, it’s perfect.
Do you hate grills
Vic is always great at playing the straight man, whereas Zack is the perfect punchline.
E
@@EEEEEEEE great job, well done.
Get ready for your next mission soon soldier.
Nonono, that’s the closest closeted gay, not vic
@@opalEDM 👋
Glad to see someone else appreciating vic, the character grounded in reality never gets enough credit
The “I would say so” is what sells it for me
Haha that was my favorite part
The implication that the INTERVIEWER is humouring The SCIENTIST with making the Raisinet chocolate covered is such an S tier joke lmfao
@@MsCunningLinguistic why did you capitalize HE and HER?
@@jokuvaanoikee242 for emphasis and as a tone indicator!
@MsCunningLinguistic Totally understand using caps as a tone indicator. In this case, you may be interested to know Vic (the person being questioned) uses they/them pronouns, so some people may think you're capitalizing "her" to make a point about not calling them "them".
This is just philomena cunk
I WAS ABOUT TO SAY
EXACTLY
LMAO LITERALLY
i can HEAR her saying all that 😭😭
YES
Vic obviously setting it up for Zac to ask about Bloomington and he goes no no you don’t get it, I’m reeaaally bad at follow-up questions
Zac and Brennan are almost infamous for just ignoring whatever setup someone else has got going on, if they think that non sequitur is going to be funnier. See: The deviled egg on my shoulder.
Zac is adept at playing incredibly inept characters 😭
@@HachiimaneZac legitimately gives a new definition to the term "idiot savant" with how well he _portrays_ idiots
to be honest, I was surprised he did give the "correct" followup to the "I'm sorry"/"pingpong" question.
@@user-jn4sw3iw4h eh, even a broken clock is right twice a day
Vic and Zac play off of each other so well and I'm obsessed
Playing off eachother like ping pong
@@LauraLowe or table tennis
All 3 of them are in the same improv group, Yeti!
Weird thing to be obsessed with.
@@billycherokee7630 Do you not have anything in entertainment that you love so much that you are obsessed with it? How saddening
Vic set him up with viable tangents about Bloomington, IL, but my man Zac went straight for Ping Pong and raisins. This is why we love Zac.
Vic uses they/them pronouns, just letting you know
@@NESherv You act as if people who go by other pronouns have not internalized that. Do you actually talk to people? Or do you just talk about what you think they're like? The very easy, clear, and respectful option is just to call them by what they say they would prefer to be called, and not be a cunt about it. It's like a name.
@@NESherv if you're referring to them then you should.
@@NESherv Dude, all they did was inform the OP about the original person’s preferred pronouns in a totally polite and respectful fashion. They never made it seem like the OP was being “wrong” or “disrespectful” or anything like that. They were just being educational.
@@KairaTepes Thanks for letting me know :)
GOD Jacob’s triple-take reaction at 0:45
“Pbfft…PPBBBFFTT…HAH!”
You spelled his reaction perfectly.
I had a similar reaction. Can you imagine what it's like to experience this in person? I'd never stop laughing.
Jacob is my absolute favorite of the more recent additions to Dropout
Thats what did it for me.
It must be so difficult knowing you’re supposed to keep it together to some degree so you don’t interrupt their bit, I’d be laughing so hard I’d have to leave haha
Bad? I think those were the questions we wanted answers to...
The Congo could use more table tennis and raisins.
Nobody cares about the Congo. We care about ping pong and table tennis
@@darrenrobinson9041 i think you mean ping pong and raisinetes
3000 people with ADHD agree, these were all valid questions
Zac probably had those questions in his mind for a day
I love that Zac’s brain took “bad at asking relevant questions” and interpreted it as “amazing at asking irrelevant questions”
Vic kills it with the mildly horrified facial expression
E
Exact vibe of a expert with a little media training but no ability to handle being fucked with
"Ping pong or table tennis?" 💀
Truly a life alerting question I've never considered before, and likely won't again.
Ping pong
@@felixdoe8640 Same. Way funner to say
@@felixdoe8640 pingpong is a brand name though and the sport is table tennis
@@felixdoe8640 and also it was called whiff-whaff in britain 😂
So cute lol😂
Loved the "covered in chocolate?"
"Yeah, I would say so" 👌
Important for proper aerodynamic!
big "is it an African or a European swallow?" energy
He's not bad at asking relevant follow up questions. He's good at asking irrelevant questions😂
E
"If you were to throw a, uh, a Raisinet" the cadence on this was PERFECT. That slight hesitation feels like such an interview staple.
Absolutely obsessed with the way Vic gave Zac a sane way to respond to the prompt , it set Zac's speed run off the rails up so well
Ok, "speed run off the rails", you just cracked me up
Out of all the Make Some Noise episodes
This is by far my favorite one. Zac, Vic and Jake just absolutely slay this episode
And I really love how this one at the very end Zac and Vic just breakdown by how funny the prompt was
Where are these eps I can’t find them on dropout I’m so confused 😭😭😭
Also looking for these episodes. I need more Vic in my life.
@@macintoshE98 Season 1 EP 6 The Hostage Negotiator Knows the Hostage Taker from Way Back
This is how I feel like I make small talk at parties.
Haha aw
This is how I talk anywhere
I love how Vic is able to just keep a straight face for that long. They’re an incredible matchup for Zac’s strategic random form of comedy.
all of us who have ADHD: I feel called out by this
Oh my gosh yes!
I was just gonna comment this 🥲
I was going to comment “this feels like my thought process with ADHD”. Or at least how it sounds to neurotypical people because I skip the connections that get me from one seemingly unrelated topic to another
“Nah nah don’t worry, it’ll come back around guys just listen, just listen hear me out”
*precedes to deepen rabbit hole even wider*
My thought proccess the whole time I'm doing something important. I could be doing a test that's like 80% my grade for the year and be thinking about trying to eat money. I don't know why. The thing is; I'd still ace said test.
Normally something so random as those questions is absurd, but Zac and Vic played their parts to perfection. Even to the point they just couldn't keep it in anymore. This might be my new favorite CH moment. It's still hard to top Brenden's monologue at being denied any points in Game Changer.
I live in Bloomington, Indiana and I got my hopes up for like half a second.
Bloomington-Normal steals the thunder yet again
Ey! Digital Neighbor!
We are the better Bloomington.
as a bloomington normal native, it sucks ass here
@@mars-the-ethereal9609 as a fellow Bloomington Normal resident, I agree

@@KairaTepes my pronouns are Your Your Majesty/ Your Lordship. JS. Also, big part of my sexyal identity, is to blatantly disregard everyone else's identity as the lunacy it is. Respect that.
@@Saint_nobody
The only lunatic identity is the one you presented. This is like if I knew your name, but called you a different name anyway. Why not just do the right thing?
"Just one" 😂
I keep watching this. I don't know why "Yeah, I'd say so" is the funniest part to me
I expected it would be slightly off topic, not "ping pong or table tennis"
Vic's expression at the end kills me
“I would say so” is really what makes this XD
Love how Zac still managed to confuse her, despite it being the prompt. He is dedicated in the absurd
The way they break character at the end... so good.
As a central Illinoisan I feel so validated by this for some reason
I’m surprised to see the number of fellow central Illinois people there are in the comments who were just as pumped as I was to hear a Bloomington name drop
fr i grew up in bloomington and this is the first time i’ve heard it mentioned 😭
Same lol
not from bloomington but I am about 15 min from peoria so I got excited when I heard it
Blono cmon!
You don't Normally hear it mentioned
There is nothing I love more than how much Jake loves Zac's sense of humor. His laughter is so contagious
Those were legitimate questions from zac. He wasn't doing a bit lol
And she wasn't doing a bit by being utterly flummoxed by those questions.
@@elbruces vic actually uses they/them!

@@Ash_W04 Washington? The Heights? Or elsewhere?
"yeah I would say so" 😂
Zac is just having a normal conversation for me
"Yea i would say so" is such a good line there.
"Do you think I look like a guy who can make really good laser noises?"
"What?"
"Pewww Pewww"
"If you were to throw a raisinet how fast do you think it would go" needs to go in Zac's biography
What I like about Zac's delivery is that he can play a lunatic with the straightest tone possible. He can juxtapose perfectly salient comments and questions with the most outrageous ideas.
Vic’s whole vibe is just incredible
Last scene is Vic just looking at Zac like "what was your plan here?" and him being like "I have no idea, and that's the way I like it" as they both burst into laughter
Zac was amazing! Vic’s ability to play the straight man really amplified the joke lmao
Zack's sincerity is amazing.
I feel like everybody loves Zack yet he's still somehow underrated.
Y’know what I love? When Vic goes “a raisinet?”, Zac’s reply is not to clarify the obvious ‘is that really the object you’re asking about?’ It’s to clarify “yes, just one”
She knew his job was to ask terrible follow-up questions but Zach's still caused psychic damage in that much confusion
He is a God at that kind of comedy
She’s trying real hard to dodge these questions
Hearing them just name drop my grandparents home city was very odd for me
Vic's pronouns are they/them, by the way! Have a good day 😊

The funny thing is it’s so realistic 😂 like if this situation actually happened on an interview, this would be the reaction
I thought he was gonna go for something like "Do you think the lions in the Congo are better than the ones you've seen in American zoos?" Or "Is it warm in Illinois? I was thinking of visiting my grandmother who moved there last year"
But my man immediately went for ping pong 💀💀💀
I live a half hour away from Bloomington, IL. It's so weird seeing it pop up in random videos every now and then lol

I’m watching Fantasy High for the first time right now and I’ll admit I expected one of the tangents to be: “Are you my dad?”

This is legit my conversations on the regular. My brain almost NEVER has direction
what a great cast - and more Vic please!

and then there's me, from Bloomington, California😂
"Yeah, I would say so" 💀 that was perfection
Idk why but vic’s confused, stunned “For-“ killed me 🤣
I refuse to believe some of these arent scripted theyre just too good
The laugh at the end 😭
Vic’s ability to be the hilarious normal person in the bit
Her look of horror at the end is the cherry on top here
This made me realize I would be a bad documentarian.

“I can’t stop throwing raisinettes at my wife”
My time in the congo 😂
She said bloomington Illinois and I had to double take cause no one talks about it
I like how Vic's bewilderment by the end seems completely genuine
Bloomington represent! lol
And they say there are no real journalists left
The corpsing at the end was actually the best part
"A raisennett"
Me what instrument is that?
Ping pong is nore fun to say lol
i love seeing vic acting as someone baffled, like in the uber prompt with jacob lol
This works so well, because she was actually thrown off from the questions 😂
I love how he seemed to break Vic at the end. Her expression was amazing 😂
God it's like watching press conferences ilat the Whitehouse and "reporters" from blaze and fox aren't even close to the objective
Where’d Vic pull Bloomington, IL from? 😂 Aren’t they from Canada?
"They"? Is Vic trans as well?
I think they meant they in the classical sense as in plural or talking about someone rather than to someone
Maybe Vic saw it in a TV show or something and it was the first city that came to mind
@@hittingyouoverthehead wow, good to know there's another hateful individual in this comment section. vic isn't trans, this commenter was just using the very common and centuries old practice of using "they" to refer to a single individual instead of using he, she , or it. but no, gotta be some liberal tranny snowflake when someone uses they instead of she.
No, Vic is a sometimes they, sometimes she.
Raisinet is such a good pull omfg
The "ping-pong or table tennis?" question was so randomly perfect 😂😂
Vic does an incredible job of looking legitimately confused and concerned at Zac's interviewing style
His questioning is how my brain works on a day to day basis when I’m talking with people

The, "I would say so." is so genuine.
That was a signature Jeff Goldbloom vocal filler right before Zac said raisinette
