I had an uncle who was an antique dealer in Montreal, he was called by them to evaluate some antiques and art they had stolen from the PM's residence.

You should ask those Canadians who used the social services funded by GST/HST revenue. Brian's estate was not funded by GST/HST revenue
Ah yes the many fond memories. Do you remember how happy your mommy was when daddy arrived back from New York with the $300,000 in a sealed envelope under a newspaper in a restaurant booth. Mommy was again able to travel to New York herself to buy more shoes. And remember the happy moment when he was acquitted over a technicality of the bribery charges that evidence suggested he had committed. Fond memories that he didn't spend the next 10 years in prison for his actions.

Hard to understand the wave of adulation for the late Brian Mulroney. Flags at half-staff since March 1st. Don't think the flags were lowered that long for Queen Elizabeth. Mulroney was hardly the best Prime Minister we ever had. His diplomatic skills were stronger than his ability to steer his government. Should have started and finished as an ambassador. His scandalous legacy was to leave the Tory candidates almost wiped out in the federal election of '93.
So do Canadians but they couldn’t be more different.

Mulroney was truly a saint. He never participated in any corruption , or wrong doings that ALL politicians seem strive for. It is very unusual that a psychopath can feel sympathy, and empathy, however Mulroney was cut from a different cloth.
