When I’m reading Quran, I feel a different kind of calm, I feel safe, and comfortable, like a baby in her mothers arms. It’s hard to explain the kind of calm. But it’s beautiful. ❤️

That's why it is super important to have a free choice in life...free to become muslim or ....a christian or something else, or reject all faiths. Freedom to leave a religion too.... we are all equal and your choice for islam cannot mean that others offend islam if they chose differently and there is no justification for excluding hem or looking at them NOT as equal.... there must be full freedom all around the world to accept islam or leave it and so with all convictions and religions. Thank you for all your videos! Listening to you is truly inspiring. Allah mentions in the Quran that those who strive in His ways, He will guide them. I want to tell you 2 things. First, do not judge Islam by Muslims ( because humans are different): judge Islam based on the Quran, the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, and the practice of his companions. Second, you have Islam deep in your heart, and you need to do is take the brave step toward shahada. Many times in my life I lost valuable opportunities thinking that I was not ready yet…. The one time I did something when I was not feeling ready was to apply for a professor job. When I got the job I discovered I was more ready than most. This has taught me not to underestimate what I have. Also, my late wife used to be Catholic. It took her several years to become a Muslim. So many times after that she would regret that she did not embrace Islam earlier. Even on her death bed she said: “I regret every day that I lived as a nonMuslim.” May Allah guide you to His way and help you taste the sweetness of Iman.

True. Don't judge Islam by looking at the Muslims (as they are human, sometimes they make mistakes and sometimes there's type of people that just take the hidayah's given for granted. So because of that they choose to not fully following and practice the Islamic's Teaching)
Of course following and practicing all the Islamic's Teaching from the Quran and Prophet's Muhammad is not something easy but as Muslims we have to follow it and practice it as much as we could.

Interesting that Dr. Lang says that worship is doing everything in ones power to get what they worship. When he refers to worshipping money he says that it is an illusion even if one steals and cheats etc to get it. Lets apply this to Mohammed, according to Islamic sources Mohammed robbed, raped, murdered and enslaved women and little children in his quest to worship his allah and to get other to follow Mohammed in his worhip of his allah. So what does Mohammed have to bring to the table on judgement day?
Dr. Lang says that the worship of anything but Mohammed's allah will destroy oneselves, you will destroy others, you seperate yourself from others, our object of worship is something we cling to, and we keep other away from us, we seperate ourselves from others, we hurt other who do not agree with our worship, it becomes a disintigrating and demoralising harmful factor for the human race. When we look at the people following Islam all of these things apply.
Dr. Lang then goes on to say that the Quran is one spiritual and moral standard governing humanity. I assume Mohammed was an example of this moral standard.

I grew up in the same country as Liss (the Netherlands) and I never learned anything in school about the Islamic Golden age. All I heard was "Muslims are barbaric" and I had very low self esteem as a kid because of that. Until I started studying for myself alhamdulillah.

Thanks Lisa for a Sheikh Yusuf Estes episode. I love him to death . Most definitely the Koran is a miracle book designed by the angels of God and for almost 1450 years no human being was able to corrupt, or alter it. It stayed intact since it was revealed with its original book unlike other scriptures where you only have a translations. My 11, 9 and 5 years old all born in America have memorized the entire Koran, Thanks to the mercy of Allah. Islam is not just a religion but a way of life for humanity.

'O Prophet!˺ Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do.
Narrated `Aisha:
Umar bin Al-Khattab used to say to Allah's Messenger "Let your wives be veiled" But he did not do so. The wives of the Prophet used to go out to answer the call of nature at night only at Al-Manasi.' Once Sauda, the daughter of Zam`a went out and she was a tall woman. Umar bin Al-Khattab saw her while he was in a gathering, and said, "I have recognized you, O Sauda!" He (`Umar) said so as he was anxious for some Divine orders regarding the veil (the veiling of women.) So Allah revealed the Verse of veiling. (Al-Hijab; a complete body cover excluding the eyes). (See Hadith No. 148, Vol. 1)
Narrated `Umar:
I said, "O Allah's Messenger! Good and bad persons enter upon you, so I suggest that you order the mothers of the Believers (i.e. your wives) to observe veils." Then Allah revealed the Verses of Al- Hijab.
Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 4790
Contrary to popular opinion, the hijab has nothing to do with modesty. just cover ass of mother of believers!

this video made me feel better i had an empty void in my heart that i couldnt fill everyday i feel so lost and confused and empty i was being religious about 10 years ago i grew a beard started preying and watching lots of islamic youtube videos i stopped preying the years after i preyed a little im preying again now as much as i can i preyed 5 times 2 days in a row i think i have to get more close to islam and prey more to fill this emptiness inside me

Hi Lis, I'm proud of you who learn about Islam, because a Muslim is not necessarily like that.
It's been more than a year that you have studied Islam but have not made up your mind to take the shahada because you feel that you do not have much knowledge about Islam.
My advice if you are sure that Islam is true, convert to Islam as soon as possible by saying the syahada, because we don't know how long our lives will last, maybe Allah will call you before you take the syahada so that it will be your regret in the afterlife.
Regarding your doubts because you don't have much knowledge about Islam, deepening Islam you can do while living Islam itself like me, even though I was born as a Muslim but throughout my life until now I still continue to study Islam, because Islam teaches us to always learn until the end of our life.
Don't be afraid your Muslim brothers and sisters will always help wherever you are.
