- Redone/Updated video for Marcus Mariota. I wanted to add in more college highlights and a few more things. I condensed down his rookie year and added highlights from his second season. Some of the same elements but I did add in some different music and commentary. Just a Titans fan trying to promote our QB. Please feel free to leave any comments or suggestions. not a big fan of the titans, but maritoa is one hell of a quarterback. has feet to move around, arm talent, amazing accuracy, good poise in the pocket, the ball comes out of his hands quick, good elusiveness as well. pair him with a good o-line and some weapons (which the titans got for him in this draft), and some more defensive players, and thats a team thats primed to win if not that conference, thag division.
Nobody will ever give him credit for his leadership and his selflessness. He is so humble and is a great quiet leader and if anyone ask anyone on that titans staff they'll say Marcus is a leader.
I'm a steelers fan but I love this kid honestly I hope he wins a superbowl

I've been a Oregon Ducks football fan since 1964. No pro football for me, just college ball, I find it more exciting. Anyway it's rare I'll continue to follow an Oregon player after they go pro, but there's been a few I can't take my eyes off. Mariota is one of those players. I believe he has the talent to change the perceptions anyone may have about the role of the quarterback. Mariota is still young and every year he gets better. He's got a bulls eye arm and can usually out run most defenders. I may not sit down on a Sunday to watch the Titans, but I definitely check out the Mariota highlights. Mahala Marcus!

I have a feeling he’ll become the guy for the Raiders. Wether that be by injury to Carr (god forbid) or by his performance. His skill set is so unique in that his combo fits Gruden’s WC offense perfectly. He’d have a great line, a RB, a reliable TE, and I think we’ll address wideout with either #12 or #19 in the 2020 draft. We’ll see what the future hold for you Marcus, best of luck and RAIDER NATION 4 LIFE!
The way he launches that pass at 7:58 gives me chills! I want to see him throw with that type of confidence and conviction more next season
Between 4:20 and 5:00 you can hear John Gruden's praise for Marcus. As a resident of Nashville since 1996 and Titan's fan, I am heartbroken and angered that the organization here messed up his tenure in Tennessee, but I'm very happy he is now with a franchise and coaching staff that believes in his talents.
Good lord, the Titans are gonna be something special in 2017. Don't be surprised if they make a push for the AFC Championship game. All Tennessee needs is a refreshed secondary, and a true number 1 WR, and the league is in trouble. I do know that TEN will address the issues for sure this off season. You build a championship team through the draft, not overpaying people in FA.

This guy's skills were amazing. I can't understand why it didn't work in the end with the Titans. Hope he's successful with the Raiders.
In five seasons with the Titans, he went through four offensive coordinators.
Wish he coulda worked out on nashville !!constant change didnt help combined with injuries..he might take carrs job in vegas
His "failure" was more of a coaching thing than anything else. His injuries also whooped his ass, but his coaches never were consistent and basically never based the scheme to fit his strengths. He's a damn good quarterback, but Carr is going through the same similar situation with the Raiders. His strengths aren't being utilized well, and his coaches have been just as consistent as Mariota's have been. I think talent-wise that Carr is a top 6 quarterback in the league. His accuracy is insanely good, he could literally deliver the ball from anywhere he wants down the field and make it look easy. His leadership and ability to read defenses is also pretty great. I'm not sure if Mariota will replace Carr or not, but it's pretty unlikely and wherever Mariota's future is at, hopefully he proves all of his doubters wrong.

He is really a H.O.F type QB he didn't have any coach to develop him so he had to rely on what he knew then injuries plagued him. I'm a huge fan and I hope he gets another chance with a legit offensive coordinator nd QB coach

and all that was done with receivers who could barely get separation. Give him a legit No.1 and the leagues in trouble. I didn't even mention that he's the fastest qb in the game
he is still young, and there are things he still needs to polish, but look at what hes accomplished so early in his young career, only time will tell what hes capable of.

Damn straight. It's hilarious how many Titans fans are crying for a new QB when they have a potential top ten one on their hands. FOOLS! Not to mention this team is way too talented to score pick that's capable of being an upgrade.
The issues on offense are the same ones the Titans have had wayyy before Marcus came to town. Not mention the biggest reason why the Titans have three winning seasons in a row is because of #8.
And Delanie is coming back. And adding Hump and AJ will be a great receiver group. Titan Up!

Agree completely! Too much of the team issues are put on him. I have absolute faith in that man as our QB for years to come.
He DEFINITELY missed Delanie last year. It was amazing what he did last year if you consider the weapons (or lack of weapons) he had and the injury he had to fight through. Mariota is the truth!
Jerry Adams getting Delanie back will be huge. They also added other great pieces. Should be fun.
When we give him some dangerous weapons at wide out and/or draft a TE to pair with Walker before he retires. This dude is going to fuckin' explode offensively!!!

For some reason I can see Robinson trading one of the premier picks for a buttload of draft capital.
Also we might be a hotspot for good players that want to play for a title contender in FA now that we went 9-7. Goddamn the future is bright for this team. I feel like we'll see a rematch against the Buccaneers in a future SuperBowl

They did get crazy lucky. Like the last two drafts have been very kind. They have the hardest three positions to find on offense in qb and tackles.They need pass rushers and a corner, then there really ready for greatness.
Lucky that Whisenhunt sucked ass as a HC (or maybe he deliberately tried to bomb two seasons to get more talent on the roster). Lucky that we got Jon Robinson, a Tennessee native that worked most of his career as a scouting expert. This guy knows his shit when it comes to evaluating NFL talent and what we need to be a championship caliber unit. This team is going to be a force for years to come.
We loved him at Oregon and knew he would do great things.

nice video bro good job. I always thought to myself Mariota was a wide receiver who can throw not a running back who can throw like Wilson. Dont only thing i would have changed was a better transition from his Rookie season to his Sophmore season in the NFL but after that this Video Is AMAZING KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

It’s so unfair how he’s labeled a bust right now; it’s hard enough to play QB in the NFL but he had to deal with constant changes to the offense, a mediocre receiving corps, and an offensive line that allows him to be punished on almost every throw, I still believe he will become one of the leagues best QBs even if it’s not in Tennessee...#KeepGrinding #MM8

I loved watching Mariota play. It's such a shame the organization couldn't get him consistent coaching, and an even bigger shame that that really bad hit from the dolphins apparently ruined him.

All I have to say is, a man doesn't play that well in his first 2 seasons and then is just no longer good! His players around him changed or regressed. This man is the same QB he had always been. There is way more then just him involved in offensive production. I think he takes too much of the blame. He is the Titans QB and they would be stupid to let him go. Put great pieces around him, he will succeed! No doubt!

I love Marcus. He’s my Crusader brother. But I don’t think he’s been the same since the 2016 injury against the Jags. I don’t know if it’s mental or there’s still something bothering physically. Plus the nerve injury didn’t help. I still hope he can find that confidence again.

No joke, and they finally did. I love Corey Davis! Ill admit when they first announced it I was a little disappointed. But that was just because I love speed and Ross' 40 time was insane. But after a few minutes it changed. He looks the part. The most awesome thing is he was actually asked before the draft who his favorite NFL QB was, and guess who he said, Mariota. How cool is that. Look what he did with nothing more than R.Matthews and T.Sharpe. If he was able to do what he did with them as his best receivers imagine what he will do now with a top talent at WR. It was funny hearing a lot of Bucs and Winston fans try and explain a way why he has been better than Winston. Saying Mariota had better weapons.Which of course was nowhere near true.He would have killed for a wide out like M.Evans. Imagine how much he would have been even better with a weapon like that. Well now we don't have to the Titans finally draft a top wide receiver for him. Look out world. The reason Mariota is so good is he possesses a rare combo like the nfl has never seen before. He is one of the fastest Quarterbacks ever and yet is also a prolific passer. Talent like that doesnt just come along every day. In truth you can usually only get one or the other. A QB with both is hard to find (if there even has ever been one). A QB isnt supposed to be great at both.
Man if all these rookies are as good as advertised it could get scary.
He now has a legit wide receiver in Davis, who was the best receiver in the draft and fits what the Titans are trying to do. If you look at both Jameis and Marcus, both are on similar paths to greatness in the league and their teams are steadily improving. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Titans vs Bucs Super Bowl in the near future.

He's not overrated or underrated. No one really gives a damn about anything Tennessee Titans. Anyone who plays fantasy football know this kid was the real deal last year.
