Good for you! I watched this while I was on my treadmill. I work out 5 to 7 days a week at home. I’ve kicked it up to two miles a day over this past few months with nothing else to do at home. I like the smart ones or lean meals, I find they keep me in check. You look great, and you do have a glow.❤️
I’m 44 and the weight packed on the past 3 years. I had one of those moments.... I was up to 177. My highest accept for pregnancy ever. I felt so ashamed and embarrassed too. I had no energy and also have a heart condition so my heart was out of control and I was gonna have to go on extreme meds. Something finally clicked for me Jan13 and I’ve not looked back. Eating less, no sugar, no bread or pasta. I’m down to 157.7 just a few days ago. I’m gonna keep going. My goal is 135-140. ( I’m 5’4”) It is harder as a mid 40’s woman, but I lean on support from my husband and friends ......like you! Thankyou! This video made me cry, I can feel with you the low time and now the victory. I’m really so very pleased for you! We got this. ☺️ Keep up the good work!

Gosh Brook. You look so good and don’t look anywhere close to 45. I have gained a lot of weight during the past three years (since I’ve been a doc student) . I know stress eating has a lot to do with it as I try to balance full time work and school with eating properly and exercising. I hope to also make a change. I’m so proud of you! ❤️

Thank you for being so transparent. I have gained weight during the pandemic this year and I weighed myself earlier this week and I was not happy with the numbers on the scale. I am planning to reduce sweets and chips and soda. I don’t drink soda Every day but I have noticed I will drink it with a meal a couple of times week. I need to drastically cut down on desserts. I have a weakness for sweets. You look fantastic Brook!! ❤️💕

I have like you have always been in the thin side and never had any weight issues, but with this Pandemic and the gyms closing I went downhill. I gained 16 pounds and on my 5’1 frame it is reeking havoc on my legs and feet. Last week I started walking in the track outside next to my gym (my gym is still closed) so I walk 3 miles every day with the weekend off. I started eating less but it’s still hard not to eat sweets and Carbs, but I am eating those less and less every day so I guess it’s a process. I want to be get to the point where I’m not eating any sweets and Carbs and I no I can do it, it’s just so hard because I still crave those things, so I admire you going cold turkey and getting in there and digging your heels in. Your video was sooooo inspiring and I can relate to much of what you shared. I ended up in the Urgent Care in January with a bad cough and, as part of the intake process, had to step on the scale. Yikes! I was really taken aback. I'm very petite so extra weigh shows up pretty quickly. I've known for awhile I needed to do something to get my weight under control. And like many folks, I'm WFH these days and it's so easy to hang out in stretchy clothes and just eat whatever and whenever you want. I'm getting a home office together and have a desk bike coming, and will eventually purchase a treadmill so that I have a way to MOVE. I'll definitely check out the app you suggested and read about the additional five things you mention in your blog. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm so, so inspired!

When you said about walking around the block and then getting fit enough to go to the gym. I use to walk up and down my driveway and then would eventually run up and down my driveway until I had lost weight and felt that I could go to the gym! Thanks for sharing.

Hi again! At first, I was a little hungry but I made sure that I had tons of distractions to keep my mind off of food and drinking water also helped me feel fuller. I definitely admit that I probably at too little in the beginning. You should eat what you feel like you need to get by and cut the extras. You'll notice a big difference. Just come up with a plan that works for you and stick to it. You can do it!! :)
