Pam these aren't cars! They are pieces of ARTWORK!!! Beautiful craftsmanship, they don't build them like they use too!!! How true!

These are the finest of the era. Just note, though. The finest luxury cars didn't have heat or even windows!! They sure don't make them like they used to, Dave!!

The Pierce arrows were 6 cylinders at least not 4

Packard introduced the 4 cylinder, Great Arrow, in 1904. The iconic 6 was introduced in 1907 but the 4 continued to be offered in the Great Arrow to the last year, 1908. Pierce Arrow offered their 4 in the 1909 Model 24 and Model 40. This was the last year for their T head 4.

Hello Pam. I enjoyed that I was a really nice video about brass era cars. The three Pierce arrows in the 1912 Thomas flyer. I have a 1908 09 I don't know Thomas flyer canister with bourbon in it from beam and I got it when I was 14 100% proof bourbon so now I'm 64 I've had it for 50 years. It's for sale so if anybody wants it I'd like a hundred bucks for us funds. The bourbon alone it's got to be a hundred fifty proof I mean it's been sitting so long and it's probably very very potent. I got it when I was in Pennsylvania oh 55 years ago somewhere in there friend of mine bought it for me cuz I like touring cars I didn't realize it's got 100% beam bourbon in it and now it's got to be a lot more percentage I'm figuring 150% a true collector's item for anybody that has a Thomas Flair would love to have this canister

I'm glad you are enjoying the videos of where it all began and developed, the brass era. Bring your canister to Carlisle/Hershey. That would be the place to sell it. Sending alcohol through the mail is a pain. I learned, the US mail will not handle it.

If anything, the bourbon will be less potent. Alcohol evaporates at a much lower temperature than water.

The Pierce arrows were the superior car that was nothing built as well in history as a Pierce arrow there was not a Thomas or a Mercedes or Bentley or any other car built to the high standards of the Pierce

Pierce was one of the finest in the world, but owners of Locomobile, Simplex, Peerless, post '15 Cadillac, Rambler ( yes! ), and, of course, Packard ( just ask the man who owns one! ). These are just some of American marques servicing the top of the pre-1917, luxury market. Thanks for watching and your comments, Michael.
