I'm not sure how you were raised but if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all! Its so simple! Also try smiling in life, you may not be so miserable. My nana used to make those pudding pies all the time! She also was known to mix chocolate pudding mix into cool whip and use that as cake frosting on a butter yellow cake. It doesn't work for layer cakes, it's not thick or sturdy enough, only sheet cakes, but man i suddenly want one.

Hmm this is why I like to can my own beans. I love just adding cans of beans to dishes and they’re done. Easy peasy! I can just throw together a pot of chili in no time. They’re so much cheaper bought dry too and I soak them with a little ACV overnight to make them more digestible. My family appreciates that part lol. 😂
Also I’m definitely jotting down that chili seasoning recipe because that’s just another super quick shortcut to add to my weeknight dinner repertoire. Thanks!

    **Warning, Long Comment**
    Tips..
You can totally use the liquid from your canned beans to make the cornbread mix in place of zny eggs. I find the liquid from 1 can of pinto beans works perfectly to make 6 corn muffins from the Betty Crocker pouch mix or a box of Jiffy mix. I eat a lot of pinto beans or chili con carne and corn bread for my dinner because I really love both of those meals. I saw the tip to use the pinto bean or garbanzo bean water in place of eggs when eggs were 5 to 7 dollars per dozen in my area and I was really pleased at how well it works. When I do it I don't taste any bean flavor in the cornbread at all. I've heard you can use the black bean water from canned black beans and even some of the blended beans in brownies in place of eggs but I haven't tried that yet. For a quick and yummy dessert try putting some peanut butter and any kind of chocolate into a folded flour tortilla, you can do it with cream cheese and jams too. Fry them like a crispy taco and sprinkle liberally with powdered sugar quickly after cooking. They are so good and you can freeze them ahead of time to pull out and quickly fry. You can use pie fillings and cream cheese too. Cherry pie filling and cream cheese is my favorite. My mom likes apple pie filling and cream cheese and I sprinkle cinnamon and powdered sugar on those after frying. I save our apple peels and cores in a baggie in the freezer and use then to create the pectin to make homemade jams when berries are on sale, I've also used frozen fruit. My mom is 90 and a diabetic so I use Splenda when I make her jams and jellies. They turn out great and taste so much better than what you can buy at the store. I don't can them but freeze them in jars. I just discovered your channel this morning and I really like your content. I will be binge watching until I'm caught up.

If someone wants to make the pie fancier (and a little more filling they could take a block of softened (this is VERY important) cream cheese and mix it with the dry pudding powder and then mix in the milk (add a little less because the cream cheese add some moisture) and then prepare as normal. It adds a little tang and it's SO good.

You can always add a heaping tablespoon or two, depending on amount of the meal, of regular non-dairy creamer to the hamburger helper meals. It will give it that creamy look and texture that the milk adds.
Also great using a little creamer over other hot meals, like oatmeal, in place of milk.

Suggestions? You can add a couple of scoops or a half of a container of cool whip to pudding after you add milk it would make it lighter and fluffier and then put in your crust and you could add about a 1/4 c. peanut butter to your cool whip container and make like a peanut butter mousse for the top of the pie,you might need 2 containers of cool whip, you could melt some peanut butter a little bit and smear it on bottom of crust before you add the pudding,I would probably bake the crust a little bit as well for like 10 minutes just to toast it a bit to bring out the flavor before you fill it and if you wanted a little fancier you could chop up some Reese's peanut butter cups from the dollar tree the small bag for a garnish and drizzle choc syrup from dollar tree on top too

I whip the cool Whip in the Cooled Pudding then I put in shell to let cool again and set then use what's left of cool Whip to dollop on top. Measurements go by how many boxes of pudding. Like you did a single. Looked 😋. Love Wendy's chili. I live about 9 miles one way to smaller town so it has a Food Giant Dollar General and Dollar Tree. We have to drive one way 28 miles to get to a Walmart and Aldi's is over 60 miles from us. We are in a rural area but our Food Giant is higher since new takeover and we go and get everything we need at Walmart for almost a month. But love this recipes may try making the chili this way. Husband usually does chili but it just soupy.

Wendy’s was my sister’s first job and the way you made the beef is very similar to how Wendy’s made it. Now that was 40 years ago because we’re in our 60s now. But at the end of the day they knew they needed to cook X number of ground beef patties before they cleaned up. So they took whatever they had left over and cooked enough to make the number. And that would refrigerate and the next day the person to make the chili would use that meat to make the chili so they would be making it with the patties. Now I’m sure it’s different than the frozen patties that are at dollar tree but it just makes sense.

Wendy's chilli does not have celery to get closer to the recipe use the onion/bell pepper stir fry frozen veggies instead. And instead of water add a can of V8 that dollar tree sells

This is from the Wendy’s website (they have the celery in all caps, I didn’t do that, guess they want to emphasize the celery haha) :) Chili con Carne Chili Concentrate: Chili Sauce (Water, Tomato Juice, Tomatoes, Calcium Chloride, Seasoning (Sugar, Salt, Corn Starch, Dried Chilies, Spices, Flavor Enhancer [Dextrose, Salt, Yeast Extract, Silicon Dioxide, Modified Corn Starch], Citric Acid, Disodium Inosinate, Disodium Guanylate, Xanthan gum), Beans (Pink Beans, Red Kidney Beans), Vegetables (Onions, CELERY, Green Peppers). Ground Beef. Water.

Girl, yes!! Pull up that Wendy's website.
Wendy's has ALWAYS had celery in their chili. I remember eating their chili often with my dad as a kid in 90s. One day, we carefully studied our chili bowls so we could recreate it at home.
They didn't change the original recipe. They use a Cajun style mirepoix (onion, bell pepper, and celery). Celery is a classic ingredient in Midwestern and Southern chili recipes.

Pudding pies are a fav in our house. So many ways to change it up, and even the little kids can make them with minimal help!

just made this chili tonight and its amazing, however i "doubled" the recipe and adjusted the ingredients to walmart great value brand because the dollar trees around me no longer sell the individual extra value patties nor tomato sauce
my recipe (and prices) and method was as follows:....
    2x great value frozen seasoning blend 10oz - 2.76
2x Great Value Chili Seasoning Mix, 1.25 oz - 1.48
2x Great Value Mild Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, 10 Oz -1.76
2x Great Value Pinto Beans, 15.5 oz Can - 1.56
2x Great Value Dark Red Kidney Beans, 15.5 oz - 1.56
1x Great Value Original Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, 10 Oz - 0.88
    1x Great Value Tomato Sauce, 29 Oz - 1.36
1x Extra Value Beef Patties, 20 ct, 1/4 lb each, 5 lb (Frozen) - 11.63 (2.33 per lb)
1x 29oz can of tomato sauce water (3 cups) - free with left over can and tap water
with local sale tax the list came to $23 even
$10 more than the dollar tree recipe but i have a full pot of almost 7 quarts of chili and 3lbs of left over patties for other uses
the only option to get extra value brand patties in my area are through walmart and is a 5lb box of 20, 1/4lb patties, according to the tag that comes out to $2.33 a lb before tax ($12.56 for 5lbs after 8% tax)
i used 8 of the 1/4lb patties but didnt drain or rinse the extra seasoning out of the meat
cooked mashed up patties in a pan until crumbly (took awhile) then added frozen seasoning blend and chili season mix
cooked for >5 minutes to toast seasonings
dumped all canned stuff into giant sauce pot and stirred to combine
dump seasoned burger meat and veggie mix into pot
de-glaze burger pan with 29oz can of water, add to pot
brought to a rapid boil then simmered
had some after an hour and it was amazing as is, the tomatoes were still a tad bit "raw" in flavor
its been simmering away for almost 4 hours now cant wait to have some more
