There's also an aspect of skill playing magic chess, for example, you start off by trying to build the fighter/northern vale synergies but notice most of the people in the lobby are playing elf/guardian so you switch to the assassin synergy to try and counter. Identifying peoples synergies and trying to counter them are a skill in itself therefore magic chess is not ALL about luck. I've done this numerous times and I've come somewhere in the top three each time.

I don't even rely on 3 stars heroes. Synergy and item is more important. Btw, moskov is not the strongest (in other words, OP) hero in the game. Hayabusa and Ling is the OP hero if you get the correct synergy and item for them.

im just too lazy gathering up diff synergy so i always go for full Weapon Master or Dragon Alter (6 units each), not optimal but keeps me in the top3 everytime, unless the game rly screws me up by not giving me the heroes iwant lol
i bought the Baker Ragnar Commander, the passive should heal 8HP when the commander's HP falls below 25%, however, that isn't the case. It doesn't actually heal at the start of the game, like it should be, but only when receiving damage when HP below 25 HP, so it barely saves you when you needed it. RNG is a factor when you win or lose. Lucky if you get the prio heroes and the needed equips

To have that Ragnar you need to buy it with diamonds or play like crazy until you have enough experience points. Also your strategy works if you are very few doing it. If it popularize then it is a race to the bottom and you'll not have streaks. Also, don't insult the other players. Be respectful.
For me weapon master are one of the easiest synergies to get many level 3's because zilong and martis are only 1 gold troops,i build it along with argus alucard terizla and leomord then a rafael,you could then get two from dyrroth,moskov,and alice to get full abyss comp.

I think the feather of heaven on wanwan is a bug. I fought enemy wanwan that already got feather of heaven, she gain the mana when use skill. Then after several rounds and I got feather of heaven too, I placed it on wanwan, but she doesn't gain mana when ult.
Full empire might work as well. put 3 assassins to lock on wanwan and drain her mana so she cant use her ult as much try putting huge aoe pieces as well like Odette and Harith or even Tigreal.. also if you can get your guinevere to enemy’s wanwan thats really good because she stuns for a really long time

just play what the game gives you. so basic. memorize combos. have a "main combo" and some "side combos". but the gold bonus thingy is very intriguing. RNG is RNG.
gold bonus is not rng. it's literally explained on the guide. hero rolls on the other side, although rng, can be strategized so you get a higher chance of getting what you want. im rook 8 on autochess and mythic 2188 points on magic chess

lol you cant win consecutive times with ONLY luck. When buying heroes you can see that there's probability of _-star heroes that will come out. So stick to some level to have a higher chance getting your heroes
Bro you still need your mind. First thing is you cant play without it. Second is synergy has its own passive. Read it because it will help you to make your team great. Third and last is i think your rank is below master that is why you are in luck with the heroes

How do you do that you didn't put masha? Usually if you lack of heroes in the chess the computer manually put your hero in the battle field
Put the wrestler synergy to hanabi if she has the glowing wand. You can stun heroes at the back with her bouncing attack
