    Do you need to register a flight plan everytime you use the thing? Or can you just take off and fly with it when you feel like?

      I think it doesn’t matter. If you’re dumb enough to put a motor on a rubber raft and get airborne I think the law is the least of your worries.

      off course yes . a part Jet Fighters every airplane including the space shuttle or a 747 glide with engine off .... a microlight aircraft in general , and a FIB in particular glide down slow and easy ;-)

      P.B. Theriver dear P.B. Theriver , please avoid to post stupids comments on this place since is a public place . Not sure if you refer to the big company Polaris Canada that produce snow mobiles , sea bike quads etc. or at our small family business that produce microlights and flying boats since 1986 ....but still about a completelly idiot ( and offensive ) comment we are talking about ....

    • @polarismotor817
      @polarismotor817 Před 6 lety

      therosses5 . Are you joking I hope ;-) ? We do not need to show a similar video . This is not a joke or an adaption did once by a commun microlight and a commun rubber dinghy . This is a microlight designed all together with a special frame and wing designed to fit in a special boat made by a RIB company under our specifications and project, developed and sold all over the world since 1987...units sold are over 800...

    • @therosses5
      @therosses5 Před 6 lety

      Yes, I was joking about duct tape. It's the all-purpose tool here in the USA. Thank you for the quick reply. I did see another video after I commented. I love the retractable wheel idea. This is the ideal way to fly an ultralight.

    • @polarismotor817
      @polarismotor817 Před 6 lety

      therosses5 . Ha ha ha :-) yes I know about duck tape ...it's used a lot also in microlight aviation and in general aviation and every where maybe even in military jet fighters...;-)

    • @polarismotor817
      @polarismotor817 Před 9 lety +1

      Dear Adam for your info's a trike - flex wing microlight ( like the FIB ) recover by him self from stall in few seconds and do not go in spin ....Those that make aerobatic with Hang Gliders ( no engine ) put the wing in spin intentionally with a consistent effort , and for recover just let go the control bar . sorry ... ;-)

    Fuck drones! This is so much cooler! Instead of expensive sailing boats or catamaran's, go flying in a affordable inflatable... For safety I think we should just add an emergency shoot. And as for airspace, there should still be some left if you move away from cities and airports
