- The PS2 AXE by Jake Hoback made from AEB-L stainless steel is a wicked wicked blade for sure! huge thank you to KC over at Knivesfast for allowing me to do the demonstration!! I took the ax to the studio and put it through its paces also pop the trunk and did some cutting It has a wicked sharp edge It's light it's fast but does it get the job done? stay tuned to see?!!
shout out to Bob over at the @TheKnifeJunkie
I love this thing. Give that dude my number!! Haha!
It is dope!
Your not kidding it's sharp..really good looking hawk, looks like it's fluid in the hand, great collaboration with KC...good job boys...
It's Wicked short bro just kind of next level holy hell
Scab! Most definitely a sharp axe. Love watching the, uhmmm, well, destruction as ol Scabber takes his axe and tears through various items in the woods. I love how you can choke up behind the beard to skin a tree branch. Ok sure let's open the trunk. It cuts far better than a handaxe should. Awesome axe and great review brother Scab!
Much appreciated brother!! Hope all is well!
Jake’s army days are showing through with this design. Killer hawk. Killer demo
This thing is wicked sharp bro
Looks like a killer little axe, tomahawk, breacher, whatever! Great showing & remember...start working that left side, I think one day we're all going to have to battle two-handed! Times are getting crazy! Thanks Scab!! 👊💥👍
Much appreciated Miss Stacey!! I've got one or two good two-handed fights left in me
Love it. It’ll be a nice light hawk for sure. It’ll ever do axe stuff. Cool. Great demo brother. 👍👍
I'm digging it for sure man
Miss it.
Enjoy your day 👍
thats a cool looking Hawk my brother...much love to you and Megatron
It is rather wicked
It definitely works and looks badass! 🇺🇲💪🗡
Yes it does!
I like that you are working with KC. I like to see the "top down" reviewers are interacting with the "hard test" channels. I like all the knife CZcams content. I'm excited to see you test the American made Divo knife from Lefty you mentioned as well.
KC is an awesome guy. I'm a guy that believes all reviews have value and I think it's important we blend and mesh. The knife community is actually rather large albeit splintered and I'm not saying that like in a negative way or there's division I'm just saying there's so many little groups all across the world I'd love to see us all come together
wow very cool looks interesting, take care Scab, thank you for the tip of using the shorts has helped me a lot, take care
Awesome brother!!
Damn , that is a sharp axe. The way it sliced the paper was insane. I like the look of it too. Really nice sized 👌 It took apart those trees no problem and chipped into the Oak like a beaver would.
This thing is pretty damn hard for its size
Looks like an awesome axe Bro! I don’t know anything about breaching but that axe looks handy in the bush. Thanks for sharing Dave
It's pretty wicked Brother kinda dig it
Been looking forward to this one.
It worked insanely well very very sharp
Cool
Cool axe , thanks for sharing , God bless brother ! #22aday #22adaynomore
Much appreciated brother God bless
WOW awesomely utilitarian axe there Scab
Digging it brother
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors NOO don't start digging with it... LMAO
looks like it was designed to be great for a sci fi context.
nice chopper there
Appreciate it brother

#BackTheBlue
That's a wicked looking axe you have there.😊
It bangs a long quite well
#22adaynomore
it could have been even more simplistic if the handle was also skeletonised as well
That's very true my friend
That is a really thin bit for something that appears to be a breaching tool and not a machete. By design Im not sure I would want this particular one for hard use.
Probably wouldn't serve you well where you're at
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors oh fair enough! A frozen log just might be the end of an edge that fine but maybe not! I haven't had any issues with my leukko blades yet and they average about 3.5-4mm of 80CrV2.
@@turtlewolfpack6061 I was thinking temperature and more hardwood. But in all fairness I would say too it seems the heat treat is spot on, The only reason I say that is, I was slamming it pretty good into that oak log and it maintained but I don't know that I'd risk it in the temps you got
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors the only real hardwood I have is birch and introduced Manitoba Maple. That said, standing dead pine and spruce will absaloutely DESTROY any edge on anything. Especially if is a fire kill. Splitting knotty pine is also a major pain and pine knots can very easily chip an edge. The low temperatures that we have here in winter (it was -25 Celcius today at the jobsite and in two days they are forecasting -34) actually dictate steel choice and often HRC for me. That is actually one reason I love basic high carbons like SK5, 1095 or mid carbon alloys like 5160 and absaloutely endorse 1055 like Cold Steel uses in a tomahawk. But generally I look for an HRC in the 58 or even a bit less range.
Yes, it needs to be maintained more but when the temperatures drop that hardness is much more forgiving when you have to use the tool!
Very nice brother I went over and sub to his channel. That is a B.A. Axe 🪓🪓 thank you for sharing stay safe and God Bless much love and respect always
GO DAWGS!!
It's a forehead breacher
Damn straight
Looks nice but I personally would never buy it. I have several of his knives that he claimed he made and he didn't there 100% make in china me and KC has talked about it on his channel. I don't mind knives made anywhere but don't charge me 700 dollars leading me to believe you made it here in the US and it's a 300-dollar knife made in china. It's like kissing me on the cheek and stealing my wallet. You my Brother get a thumbs up for the review. For Jake Hoback refer to the first sentence :)
I always appreciate you brother Thank you for checking it out I hope you are feeling better!
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors I'm starting to feel a little better I need to get back to work I don't remember the last time I got sick. I'm glad you're not the QVC, or I wouldn't have said my feelings about Jake Hoback the man is a great smith but he misleads a lot of customers that's for sure
