This looks like a great exercise to increase efficiency in your stroke. I am trying to build endurance. I just started swimming after a long absence from the pool. I want to decrease effort and increase my glide and efficiency. Thanks Mandy!

Always new I was sinking in the middle of my swim, always started off well then would feel to low in the water and pushing my hips up trying to correct myself...now I know how to correct this I will give it ago, thank you for this info. 8:20

Use a pulbouy between your feet the betwen your knee and then your thigh.

Why is it now recommended to have your head so low in the water???? This is Not good form. You can have you head higher and easily keep your feet from dropping so that's not an excuse. Not trying to debate here, just not sure why improper technique is now being taught as the standard? Everything else looks good to help, especially beginners. Good job. đ
How do you figure? Iâm not being argumentative, just asking. Personally I noticed much better streamline and distance per stroke once I started swimming what at first felt like âdownhillâ.
