Roaming through a salvage yard is fun.
I’m looking at those “rims” and getting the feeling the oil has never been changed 😂
😂
Cleanest junkyard I’ve seen. Chicago’s junkyards are a mess.
That looked like a lot of fun. I think adding new stuff is awesome! This Jeep is going to be a great build. Looking forward to the videos! Great job John.
What a cool find! So nice of the guys to give you a hand taking it out.
lt has good block, good heads once ported.
If you get the Gen 3 to integrate with the ccd / pci bus, that is going to be awesome.
nice score. they are hard to find...
running with all accessories, harness and vats deleted computer these go for $1500 in canada. 2wd 4l80e another $900. Good score!
Yo do you think it would be feasible to put the front and rear subframes from a late model dodge or jeep under a first gen dakota and convert it to AWD?
That gantry is sick
Dude, that's the junkyard I go to!
All this time I have been watching your videos and you're right here in my home town??? Bruh lol
🤘
Dude I found a complete 2001 Silverado with a lq4/4l80/4.10heaes/4x4 with 287k miles that I would LOVE to swap into my Jeep, my question is : should I be afraid of the milage? And it does have a either some lifter noise or some piston slap that seems to go away after couple minutes. Should I buy it for my swap?
no harness or pcm?
What year, Denali is that?
Do GM people say an LQ4 is not an LS engine like Mopar people say a Scatpack is not an SRT😅
A Scat Pak isn't an SRT,just has the SRT motor.
I don’t know who gm people are or what they say but an LQ4 is an LS engine
I thought Denalis had the lq9. Throw some 862 heads on there either way
They came in both flavors. The Escalade is pretty much guaranteed to be the LQ9. ALMOST.
Bruh how are yall finding these for under $1k????
I know junk yards u can go get everything motor tranny etc for 230
@@Night_Owl_PerformanceX(????)
I have an LQ4 I’m building for my 74 corvette. I got 243/799 heads for more compression.
You dorks seriously don't know that the other chain on that hoist was the go up go down lever?
That's where Generic Motor Crap bellybutton boat anchors belong
My neighbor has an early 2000’s Silverado with the 5.3 LM7 Vortec with 400,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. Must not belong in a junkyard if you ask me.
@@Peculiarsafe83 I have over 300k tire roasting miles on my LQ4 work van so I have to agree
Why waste your time on junk?
JOHN RUN A CAR FAX ON VIN. YOULL GET LAST RECORDED MILEAGE. GOOD LUCK BRO!
OH REARRY
Is more expensive now lkq junkyard engine are $1000 before yes they were $400
