  • The flight section of the Easyjet Fearless Flyers Course. Shows us boarding the plane, several short videos of the views from up in the sky, the take off and landing, and opening of the envelopes which contain your certificate to say congratulations on passing the course.

It's great that airlines like Easyjet do these courses. Top marks to the lady on the PA the whole way through the flight (who I believe is also a pilot, but isn't flying here) for keeping everything calm and explaining everything!

Yeah she is a pilot too. She done a great job of reassuring people and helping them out. The whole thing has helped thousands of people fly to destinations they never thought they would be able to. Recommended to anyone who is thinking about flying, but worried about it. You can only try it and see if it's for you. 👍

I have the exact same i have claustrophobia and I hate being in small spaces. The thought of getting in a plane scares the life out of me now even though I’ve been on one before. It’s the idea of being stuck, and also when in the air you can’t get out until you get to your destination. I love how the captain is talking through everything that helps!!! Well done Sarah I know how hard this is!! I’m too scared to even do this I would have so many panic attacks.

My partner is the same. The idea of her being on the plane and not being able to get of if she wanted to. It's not the heights or the actual flying

@@JamesOhanlon wow I didn’t realise other people suffered with this! I’m not scared of actually flying either, I just can’t stand the thought of being in a small place where I can’t get out. It’s awful 😞

@@katierhi6528 must be awful. It's the anticipation too of getting on it. But once she's on, she's ok. It's just the thought of being stuck on the plane til you arrive at the next airport. Hope it all works out for you x

Booked in for this weekend i was really nervous but the zoom call you have have really eased my nerves.
My fear started after a return flight from turkey it was a turkish airline, this flight from turkey the captain didnt talk to us at all to welcome you or what to expect from the flight also when we hit a bit of turbulence i asked the air hostess if things were ok as i like a bit of reassurance and her reply was i dont know you tell me.

Thanks for the comment. On the course they give you breathing techniques and ways of helping you distract yourself. It certainly works for her, as we have been on several European breaks since this was taken and bookng another shortly. She still gets worried beforehand on flight's but she can control it now. Hope you decide to do the course and it works for you. 👍

Good luck. It was my partner's first time doing this and she was scared too. She told she had that many different types of emotions going through her, it was hard to explain. There was fear, anxiousness, excitement and more. It really did help her a lot, we have been on several European breaks now, something she never thought would be possible and we got another in January booked.
