How to use Conversation Awareness with AirPods Pro (2nd generation) | Apple Support

To help you focus on face-to-face conversations, you can turn on Conversation Awareness in Control Center on your iPhone or iPad. Then when you start speaking to someone nearby, your AirPods Pro (2nd generation) will seamlessly lower the volume of your media or pause your podcast, and enhance the voices in front of you.
