Man I 100% agree with Sam. I do think it’s frustrating for new players who don’t know how to position but positioning is part of the game….. now that you have to position again it’s going to be a whole new game.
You mean it's going to be the old game again. Harder to play for must people. Those of us who don't have that much time to learn about every item and tactic will get rolled. If this is what the community wants then fine, there are other games to play for me. I will still try it though.
@@serghonest9 That's pretty much how I feel about this patch. I don't have the time any more to keep up with metas and also don't have the energy/will to play games which have you on the edge of your seat the whole time. That's just less relaxing to me after a day of work. I also fear it will lead to more toxicity, as players are more tense.
But it's okay, people who like this gameplay can have fun with this patch, I'll take a break. Just hope this doesn't kill Smite 1, given Smite 2 is around the corner.

Logically Sam can just put a bunch of Chronos games together and make a tilt out of that, he doesn't have to get a Chronos game right after each other like it usually goes when he's comprising tilt videos of not-so-popular-gods. So i don't think a Chronos tilt is outside the realm of possibility, but we'll see
Pen also helps Qins so his exe was putting in work. Going exe instead of toxic would have been the play upgraded into the stacking dmg glyph

Towers doing less damage is so annoying. They already feel completely useless
Will be honest and say everyone after 9.5 was praising it, now after the revert everyone is not suddenly saying it was a bad change.
Btw sam you can easily tell if they have a power pot by looking at their flat pen number on the tab menu.

Why toxic blade for 6th? He didn't have healing and you gave his qins more value. Hed have healing upon upgrading jotuns, but is it worth? Why not midguardians or even Exe for pen? Just curious on your thought process here.
Toxic blade gives more attack speed and takes away attack speed from the other person. The healing is a secondary function these days. Quins doing more damage is negligible.
A tilt set would be nice
I wish they reverted it back halfway instead of this personally. Some gods are brutal to play against because they 2 tap you with easy abilities.
Hey Sam, question for you. At the top of your vid, you mention that you’re against a higher mmr player. What in god select gives that away?
if you ban first then you are higher MMR, the guy had higher MMR so he got to ban first :)
Smite needed to be less tanky. Safe characters shouldn't also be a struggle to kill if they are careless with their positioning. Needing several ability rotations in a team fight from multiple players to get anything done was a bit much. Smite hasn't felt this fun in years! I practically stopped playing nearly as much because of that 9.5 patch.
That said, they could do with maybe things being a smidge less squishy than it currently is.
SAM 9.5 WAS NOT THE MIDSEASON PATCH, THAT WAS 9.7!!! there were 12 major patches for season 9 from 9.1 to 9.12, 9.5 is not in the middle

I wish 9.5 never happened, I recognize it’s better for the game that we had the revert, but I’m frustrated that I have to relearn optimal positioning AGAIN…

Ahhh you were simply out built in the mirror. Granted i wouldve swapped the order of jotunns and zerkers, but his exe vs your toxic sealed the deal i think.

I dont normally disagree with sam but I HATED the system locking off characters. Im not like sam that can play whatever he wants, I have a few certain gods I enjoy and thats it. Then to have 90 percent of them locked off all the time was infuriating!!
