Dunkin’ Donuts sure has changed since I was a kid. My best friend worked there making donuts early in the morning before school even started. Every day she brought donuts to school and I passed every day and am glad I did! The calories and sugar in those donuts I would still be burning off. 😂. Those Krispy Kreme donuts are actually a work of art! Nice!
That's cool. I think most people that consume high calorie, high levels of trans fat, and foods that spike blood sugar don't have health insurance or don't see a Dr on a regular basis. They can go at it eating up all those tasty and serotonin boosting foods.
@@jameswest7323 Not only that, but they send a copy of the receipt to your Dentist so at your next appointment if you say you haven't been eating a lot of sugar, your Dentist shows you the receipt without saying anything and makes you feel really embarrassed for the rest of the appointment. It's the law.

i'm glad you got something savory instead of all that sweet. Also it was cool to see a del taco again. ours closed 30 yrs ago and i have missed it ever since! i can still smell it sometimes or rather some smell reminds me of their smell and no its not the same as taco bell its something amazing!

Waited and waited to have a Krispy Kreme Donut. They announced in 2002 they would open one in Branson, MO...not too far from where I lived. I thought, finally I am going to get to taste a Krispy Kreme donut... the shop opened two days after I left to move to Germany. I have YET to ever taste a Krispy Kreme Donut. So, I am living through your experience. Thank you!

I was on a boat tour in Chicago once, the guide said he was a medical student focusing on being a heart surgeon, he said “and there you see a Krispy Kreme donuts, please keep eating those to help me out in my future career” don’t think many people laughed

Oh man, love Krispy SKreme! But, really glad that the closest shop is over 70 miles from my home or I would be very tempted to try the pumpkin spice donut! The closest shop to us was in Rochester, NY and they closed several years ago when low carb was becoming a huge. I'm reading that some McDonalds may start to offer KK donuts!

I am really loving these Halloween themed food reviews. I did try the Ghost Pepper Whopper. 🌶 I really enjoyed it. I was expecting it to be hotter. I think will pass on the Krispy Kreme. Too much sugar. Having an "undressed" coffee with it was the only way to go! Good call.
Im not sure if I could eat the ghost pepper burger. I used to eat hot wings and spicy food all the time, but I stopped. I got a spicy chicken sandwich the other day and I didn't enjoy it because it was so spicy. Guess my taste has changed over the years

When I am in the mood for a donut it's usually mid afternoon. I don't often have time in the mornings as the donut shops are too far out of my way. On my days off I tend to sleep in, so while I did enjoy donuts occasionally in my youth they're usually just not convenient for me nowadays and I now know how unhealthy they are anyway. What I already eat is not as good as it could be, tho I have made some tradeoffs for health reasons. Donuts just don't fit in my life anymore and haven't for awhile. So it's nice to live vicariously through Adam in videos like this, where he explores and describes in detail the consumption of that which would probably give me a coronary now if I tried one. Or I'd be late to work.
Most Dunkin's at least here in the northeast US have the donuts delivered. They don't even make them fresh in the store anymore! That's one thing I love about Krispy Kreme, that they actually make them onsite.

Adam - One thing you may want to keep in mind, the best time to indulge in sweet treats is actually right after a good workout. The body is apt to utilize the sugars/calories to replenish depleted glycogen stores in the muscles vs turning to it as an energy source or worse, converting and storing it as fat. So, save the donuts (cookies, cakes, etc) for after a good exercise session and be guilt free.
I miss Krispy Kreme donuts! As a Celiac(like Justin Scarred) no more evil wheat. But their donuts are light, Fluffy. I love watching them being made store.

I worked at a Dunkin’ in high school and at least up here in New England, most stores don’t bake the donuts in house, they have them shipped in. We’d get an early morning delivery and then a mid afternoon restock, at least on the weekends.

They just started home delivery of KK donuts here. The smallest order you can get is 1 dozen. I live alone. I am dead.

I worked at a Dunkin’ in high school and at least up here in New England, most stores don’t bake the donuts in house, they have them shipped in. We’d get an early morning delivery and then a mid afternoon restock, at least on the weekends.
