My most favourite cartoon. I really enjoyed this cartoon in 90s.
@@mikeychainsaw9760 It was broadcasted around South Asia in the '90s on Cartoon Network.
@Hysem Black I know it was the same in the US but it originally came out in 86 I was watching it back then
@@mikeychainsaw9760 Yeah, I was more on about what the OP enjoying it in the '90s, etc. We used to get loads of reruns of the 60s, 70s and 80s American sci-fi cartoons on Cartoon Network. There was a special segment dedicated to that; I believe it was called "Power Zone". Those were some good times.
I’m 46, was probably too old for this when it came out but I loved it. Played with toys way longer than most kids. This brings back incredibly happy memories
If you're 47 this year, and Centurions came out in April 1986, that actually makes you the target market coz you would have been 8 or 9 by the time it debuted. This show came out in my country in 1995 and I was about 6, but the toys weren't available anymore.
One of my favourite Cartoons as a kid. I miss all those days. I wish they made a movie out of this....
Centurions is my childhood!! With Iron Man in the MCU, I’m surprised there hasn’t been a live action movie about the Centurions! Max Ray looks like Tony Stark!
Alot of these 1980s and 1990s series deserve a movie/series for a new generation.
if a movis is made. it needs to be done right. too many beloved series get to hollywood and are basically butchered. they got nothing in common with the source material.
@@GladDestronger I disagree. I think modern Hollywood would do a great job reviving the Centurions. Especially if Disney were the ones in charge. Ace Mccloud would probably be played by Chris Pratt, with Max Rey I could see them race swapping him-he could be played by Idris Elba. With Jake Rockwell, eh I bet they would gender swap him into a women. She could be called Jackie Rocklove or something. Probably be played by Scarlet Johansson. The plot would be Doc Terror has taken over New York City, he has some sort of giant laser disc machine shooting up into the sky for some sort of awful scheme, the Centurions have to save the day and put a stop to it. Turns out Doc Terror was actually trying to fight climate change. The laser disc machine was actually helping clean up the ozone layer. The Centurions have f Ed up really bad. Public sentiment turns against them, they become the villains from the publics point of view. But later we find out that it was all a ruse, Doc Terror is still a giant douche, the Centurions clear their name and finish Doc Terror off. The end.
Max Ray is my favorite Centurion. my brother Michael his favorite Centurion is Ace McCloud. and my brother jessie his favorite Centurion is Jake Rockwell.
There're so many things kids today are missing, like shows like this, so sad.
If only the TV stations were airing these shows.
these are lost treasures man, any cartoon from hanna barbera were gold classics, we need to put all of these on a gold disk and send them to space so some other species can appreciate these.
We deserve a live-action movie of this
@@law244You mean the black gay transgender jewish overweight pinkhaired feminist Centurion?
I saw this cartoon for the first time in the early 2000's and I am still lowkey obsessed with it!
Certainly, this was one of my favourites in my childhood, it was on our TV here in Brazil in the 80's.
I am not a GI joe lover but loved Centurions and Sky Commanders. Their primary was action figures and these cartoons sold them off well, Sky Commanders werent as popular.
Never missed the power zone of Cartoon Network which aired, Aces antics with Crystal Ks were the best part of the EPs for me especially the EP he almost burns himself re-entering the atmosphere with Skybolt and another ocassion getting tossed out without a breather helmet into moons vaccum.
Thanks for the upload mate, very nostalgic.
Has anyone thought about how cool and awesome something was as a kid but as an adult you now think wow that came and cheesy, how did I ever enjoy this. That me now 😆
FYI, the studio that animated "Centurions" is Sunrise (Gundam, Braves, Inuyasha, Code Geass.)
Most of the 80's cartoons were animated by japanese studios. It was cheaper than doing it in the US and they delivered enough quality overall.
@@murenorocha yup even Disney cartoons like gummy bears and ducktales also japanese animated
@@TransKingFormers Gummy Bears had nice animation - to be honest I used to watch that show just for the animation alone.
Favorite show. Great memories.
The best cartoon of 80s.... I'm 38 but had a great time watching this....
Used to get so jazzed when they got unusual weapon sets
I LOVED this show. 😍😍😍
One of my favorite shows growing up! Great toys, too. :)
The manliest thing you'll ever see
Really I Miss the Times of this Shows my friends. I'm 43 years old this Year and really I Miss that Age. Thanks.
How I wish they were made into Live action movie today.
I believe it's worth a shot
I watched this and Captain planet every morning before school. I was in high school but I loved cartoons and still do at 56.
This is a blast from the past.
I got one for my Birthday summer of 86. Miss those days. Omg.
I've never heard the full version of this theme song before... who knew it had words, lol!
why was this the coolest thing ever
40 year old here. Loved the cartoons even had the action figure pf jake rockwell. I wanted McLeod though ;)
God the 8 year old me loved this...
One glorious Xmas my two brothers and I each got a Centurion and one weapon pack. I had Ace and the Orbital Interceptor. Unfortunately, like so many 80's franchises it only lasted one year. Time for a revival!
Aha. I finally found the lost lyrics from the Centurions power xtreme intro song. It's another startling discovery. It's amazing that the Robot Chicken animation crew members haven't made fun of these characters just as yet. I also haven't found any Shadow or Laurie action figures just as yet. 🎵 🙌 👏 😍 😭 🙏 🎵
I have Jake in the The Hornet weapon system on a shelf in front of me as I type this. So yep it's a cartoon and toyline I like a lot.
May fav was the blue guy ace I used to mimmic the plane machine when I used to play in my childhood days ...😝
Saturday mornings In the 80s . Feel sorry for kids nowadays .
I didn't know others joined. 😮😮This was one of my favorite. Want there something similar to this but they had machines to travel between mountains.
Goosebumps moment when the weapon assembly got attached to the centurions with the bam-bam sound effect 😊
So Nostalgic since 1986
I only saw a part of one episode on boomerang when I was a kid. Never saw it again until I saw this. It seems like an interesting concept especially for its time.
Os Centurions é um desenho inesquecível Força Extrema.
I used to have an 'Ace McLeod' Figure, man I loved this show :D
Poweeeerr xtreme eeee. All the war stuffs magnets into the body. That was a genius and cool concept made by the creator. Thank you for making our childhood awesome! Respect as a childhood fan from Bangladesh.
Love it when I was child then, I am 43 now, and suprise now when military use this cartoon idea on jetpack, and assault suite now
I watched it on Chinese national tv channel 6 with mandarin dubbing in the 90s. Boy, it was mind blowing!
Goosebumps !!!!! Way ahead of its time or release.. !!
I am 45 now and had these toys they fucking rocked.
Otra serie maravillosa muy adelantada a su epoca
It was the 90s and I never knew there were Centurion toys but I still love this. I recently submitted the Centurions to the Templin Institute.
Their end-of-episode piece which was linked to the episode (i think) was always interesting. That's where I learned about Pangea!
the episode about an asteroid was also pretty. predating asteroid mining by decades. though the origin of the asteroid belt is now thought because of jupiter's insane gravity pull. any planet trying to from was either ripped to shreds or stunted in its growth. its why mars is so shrimpy.
I loved the cartoon but I never saw the action figures til now. It came out the year I was born
M 35 yrs old and still waiting for the movie to come out.
this My favorite cartoon
It is man a machine, power extreme because I used to watch this cartoon series every weekday morning on Philly 57 back in Philadelphia when they used to show this cartoon series when it used to come on I think around 7:30 in the morning because I was then heading to school starting eighth grade in middle school when this quarantine series came out because I really like the guys that we are the EXO suits which involve their technology interacting with this because you know why, why it’s man and machine power extreme.
Happiest days on earth
Loved watching Centurions, Ronin Warriors. Battle of the Planets
Used to love this show as a kid. I used to transform with back pack wrong way round and crash helmet
One of my all time favs. Classic 🙂🙂😌
I watch the centurions on cartoon Network in 1990s since I was little!
I loved this show
One of my favourite shows ❤️❤️
Im 36 now and i loved this when i was 6+...😊
In India it was not easy to get a toy.. but i loved the show & still loving it.
been grown up with this kind of animation series
Good ol days 😊
Good memories
Also, a carrot on that not only dealt with the rise of cyborgs and thst technology interface, had a very related relationship in many episodes with the nvironmental issues anddamage
Well, that was a heck of a good idea for selling collectible toys... Make them extremely modular! They also look nicer than I remember.
Kind of a weird take, but technically, Megami Device anld Frame Arms girls can be considered a spiritual successor to this considering how modular they're designed to be.
A crossover movie between G.I Joe and Centurions would have been awesome back then.
damn..... brought back my childhood
must become an action movie
i was so young, and this was so advance almost comparable to blood shot movies
please bring back this cartoon
A crazy centurion fan from Bangladesh
I’ve grown a beard watching this
A fun cartoon, i was able to catch re runs in the 90s. Never had any of the toys. Look fun thought. I'm excited for the 80s commanders line by Ramen Toys though, its an updated look at the centurions
POWER EXTR-Wait this isn’t what I ordered.
Super cartoon and music ✨💥 old memories
I finally found it!!
"POWER X-TREME!"
Best....👍🏻
Childhood memories.
They need to make this into a movie !!!!!
My favorite cartoon in 90s
My age is 35.i am born in 1986.i love cartoon network.
So it’s a Western take on henshin hero stuff like Metal Heroes. I dig it!
They Made Transformers Movies, They can Easily Make a Movie of THIS!
When u grew up realise there is Richards from friends in it 🤣
Send down wild weasel
Rockwell instead of Rodewell
This theme song seems impossibly rare and beautiful
Grandes recuerdos q linda infancia 😍👏👏👏
I still remember this main theme, this was imported into china in 90s
Amazing
Excluding all types of multirole fighters. of 1982.. So
A Japanese studio? Well the main one is thought to be Sunrise (Norio Shioyama was working there at the time when the show was made so that's accurate), but other studios in Japan most have likely helped with a few episodes, especially when the show became syndicated after the first five episodes. Nice to see you used footage of the UK toy ads as well as the American ones.
My entire childhood
Centurions for 90's kids.
Iron man for 2k kids
good days
WHAT A GREAT THING !
Nice!👍🏽
I'm 43 years old and can still remember the action figures. One of the best 80/90s cartoon for sure.
I have the full set of assault weapon systems. Took over 7 years to find, but it's there.
@@arfan521 if you don't have the Strato Strike, Fathom Fan or Awesome Auger, it doesn't count. :P
