I am now steward to sheep after being a city kid for 50 years. I have two 6 mo old Dorpers at 65/70lbs. Big floofy babies and they are stubborn eating machines and dumb as a box of rocks, but so adorable. I finally understand why the whole shepherd/sheep theme Biblically is accurate.
One day, these two floofy tanks got out of my portable electric fence. I am learning and make mistakes as a steward. I went out to find them as we have big, smart coyotes. I found Maggie easily and got her settled. I couldn’t find Pearl. I called for her loudly and to my surprise she came running. Happy sheep bounce on all four feet and that’s what she was doing, her big ears flopping with every hop, eyes bright and smiling. She was delighted to be called and delighted to be found, stopping everything to hurry to my voice.
Then He says, “Like that. My sheep know my voice and come with haste and joy.”
I get it.
March 8th, 2023. I pray for all priests. Thank you, Fr. Larry for helping us to deep into our meaning of life and increase our intimacy with our Creator. Keep recording these great programs.

Lord Jesus I repent of not spending time with you in prayer and becoming “lukewarm”. Jesus I trust in You! Have mercy on me a wretched sinner. I give you my life and surrender to Your Will! May I die to myself and live for You! I love you, God, and I thank you for loving me, even though I don’t deserve it. God is good!
