Something I didn't mention. Greasing the Bal Leveler is very important. Make sure you grease it down before or after every trip.

I used it I found out it too heavy to use, does not lift the tire my tires were too big did not slide under the tire junk !!! Camper was too heavy with king size beds and slide out and shower potty combo junk!! Good for smaller pop ups without two king beds no sldeouts

If you need to get the jack underneath it to get it off, you might as well use the wheel jack to level it.

I've never needed to do this. Just thought i'd mention it.

just curious. If you aren't level from side to side, why not just slightly pull forward onto the wheel chock on the side thats too low?.hence, lifting that side up. ?

I wouldn't level using a wheel chock, but there are similar devices out there that let you level that way. This is just one way of doing it, that i've found works really well.

to much of a pain. but to make this leveler eaiser get a socket to fit the bolt and an adapter to fit your 1/2 inch battery drill.. or just stack boards..

Too bulky and cumbersome. Level side to side while still hitched. Go get yourself a LevelMate Pro BlueTooth level and a handful of legos. Most sites you can find a level site from your tow vehicle without having to block any side. You should be able to be backed in, unhitched, and leveled in a few minutes. No need to mess with a line level any more.

I agree.. that Bal leveler is a bit bulky. Thanks for sharing info on the levelmate pro.. pretty cool tech !!

That means I can't move my camper by hand after decoupled, which I like to do to get it positioned exactly the way I want it. Plus most places I camp aren't level at all. I have blocks, but this is a better solution because I can decouple and move my car and move the camper by hand a bit and then worry about levelling.
