I don't think she is copying loreen tbh, teya has made a very viral song called Džanum released before eurovision last year with the same vocal tone and similar vibe

song is not about ww1, flower is. but flower are also clear metaphora on lonlinees and hard times which all ppl have in their life, and like that flower we come to life again afther few "drops of water". Flower represent rebirth of Serbia afther enormous caulties in ww1 in Serbia. On every armistrice day we put ramonda flower on our chest just like ppl in UK put poppey flower.
There was other song in Pesam za Evroviziju which were about Kosovo and than ppl start to talk that this song is also patriotic, but that is completly diferent story, dark one.
You make too many generalizations. This is not a 'mermaid', the song is not about that, it is about desperate times, and Lila Ramonda is a flower that can be inactive for ages, then it gets a bit of water and starts blossoming. It is all about Phoenix's ability to revive. From total desperation and darkness to a new life.
All remarks that she is like some winner are also lame. It is her singing style (see her song DZANUM); she writes her lyrics and music and graduated with modern composing in the USA, Berkley.
So, nothing you can see is not fake, it is her hair, her style, her everything. She doesn't need to copy anyone, writes songs for other people, and is also a producer. She is totally genuine, like her lyrics. EVEN HER NAME, Teya Dora is nothing but her name, Teodora, but she put it to be a bit more interesting.
I think you may have taken my words too literally, I don't believe I said she copied anyone, I remarked that she is similar, and when I say mermaid, I'm joking around. I critique the songs, anything else is just goofing around, not an attack
@@JarydReacts Don't think I am one of 'them'. People who are very 'clean' and you must be an expert for the specific area, or to be Jesus, to observe something. I also react to many things, we are all entitled to our opinion, without the need to be perfect and experts.
But you are like AI. You have a database and you compare everything. Something like this: "Sea and rocks, it has been seen (of course, nobody has a copyright on that). She has a clumsy outfit, she must be a mermaid. And she is so alike the last year's winner Loreen (she wants to follow the winning formula), her style, hair, and how she sings." Etc. etc.
And Teya is so authentic. Her style of singing is not like Loreen's. Loreen has a lot of dance, her ambient is even more obscure, her voice is different, and her winning songs were (both) full of long vowels, and long notes, I've just watched both of her winning songs.
I'm sure you're not, and again, no judgement. The fact is, my reactions, yes I do point out little things, I will highlight anything of interest, I'll speak what I'm feeling in the moment, they're thoughts and feelings on the very first listen. To me, the look, the vocals, it is very similar to Loreen, I have seen others comment the same. That doesn't mean it's negative. So many artists look and sound like each other, like I said Victoria (Bulgaria 2020&2021) sounded just like Billie Eilish - it's not a bad thing. This is the first I'm hearing of the artist, and I'm seeing her for the first time, straight after Tattoo won. If you disagree, that's fine. But that's how I feel, and it's completely valid
