This is a walkthrough of a more maths-based interview question that you could expect from a university like Oxford or Cambridge. Bon Appetit.

Thanks again for another awesome video Joe. Really detailed walkthrough and the perfect example of how to display economics in the discussion parts of the question. With such little resources on the mathematical questions asked at Oxbridge interviews, I'm really glad to have seen this example. Thank you!

Is there a maths question for the economics and management degree at Oxford ?

Thanks for the video, it is very helpful. I was wondering if in the interviews they ask questions that require alevel standard maths knoweldge, since for economics they have expected you to have done maths for A-level. If not, what is the highest level of Math required for the question they could ask, is it GCSE level maths ?

Yes, they can ask questions at A level standard. Simple differentiations etc.

@@JoeMead Thank you for responding. Will it be just year 1 maths, or will they ask year 2 maths questions as well?

So do we gotta know both as and a2 maths?

Ideally, yes. Naturally if you haven't studied at that level yet then there would likely be exceptions.
