If I had to chose 3 spydercos out of my collection for the rest of my life, it would be the PM2 and the Dragonfly... that’s it... that’s all I have...

I had reservations about the tip-down only on my military, but I fell in love with the knife so much that it doesn't really bother me that much. I still prefer tip-up, but I am now willing to not ignore a knife due to tip orientation
On spyderco's, I dont mind tip-down as much, because you can do a spydie-drop.
I think Knife Works has a Spyderco Military with titanium frame lock and green g10 for about $190
Question: In the video you mention “break in” period for knives, 30% of the new knives that I get are hard to flip out of the box. Brands include: Bestech, CRKT, Kizer, Tangram, Kershaw, Steel Will, TWOSUN. What do you recommend, send them back or pull them apart, clean, lube, work the action? I have the tools and the lube to do it. Are knives like a baseball glove? Stiff and useless the day you get them then over time they flex and give and work as designed? The best flipper knife out of the box has been Ruike Hussar P121. (flawless out of the box every time) THE BREAK IN PROCESS would make a great video. Thank you for the videos you post : )
breaking in a knife is typically just simply flipping it over and over, most will smoothen out with use.
UPDATE: Yes Virginia, most knives, particularly flippers have a break in period. In the case of titanium frame lock types, I was squeezing the lock bar. (not recommended) I have XXL hands and the relatively small size of most knives is a problem for me. The other big observation was that I have no problem with liner lock flippers? (points to squeezing the lock bar on frame locks) I still think some folks would like to see a video on break in period. I found good articles online and in the blade forums. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HARD WORK ON THE VIDEOS : )

I have a spyderco tenacious lightweight and it’s my favorite knife of my whole collection.
I'm no Spyderco fan, but I'm quite happy you guys are willing to share your collection with us and that you're not nearly as ruthless as Nick is with his collection. Oh yeah, I'd keep the 3 Slysz ones if I was gonna keep any!

I own a Matriarch II in the black stealth finish with the Emerson opener. VERY scary knife
Just ordered my 1st Spyderco dragon fly in orange! I like smaller knives so they don’t take up too much space in my pocket. So far I have only 2 knives, gerber paraframe and braza bro mini. The braza is favorite with its Ti handle and smooth action. When I was a kid I had tons of knives, but I didn’t know anything about them like what metal was used or anything. I still don’t know much but it’s fun learning and watching vids like yours!

fantastic collection. thanks for sharing. That paramilitary with white scales is pretty sweet. It looks like you need some discontinued models as they mostly are current models. I absolutely love my meerkat with an s shaped blade. (although my heart is always stuck with discontinued knives)

BirdShot IV seems to be a lot of negative attitudes about integrals and higher end knives and in a functional utility sense there are diminishing returns as the same tasks can be performed by knives that cost way less but to me they are useful pieces of art and i get great joy from knives so thats all that matters!

I was heavily into Spydercos and got sick of them... Sold about 20.. But, I've come full circle and have been buying them again.. I regret some I let go....You need a Centafone 3.. It's pinned like the Manix 2 LW.. But, a great knife at a decent price..

I picked up a grey on seeing Nick's. The green is awesome! I found out about wharncliffe variant when I ordered my first Delica and when they both came the grey never saw my pocket while the wharncliffe was my only EDC for eight months! I LOVE it! Funny, Ive had bucue Enduras and thought Delica would be too SMALL. It really works for me!

The only Spyderco that I own is the ParaMilitary 2. Sprint Run O.D. Green G-10 Coated CPM-S30V Blade. :-) I decided to buy a Gray Benchmade Griptilian 550BK-1 with the sheepsfoot Spyderco Blade in PM-20CV Steel for my full-bodied Spyderco design!!! LOL! :-) I don't have Spyderco Addiction...I may have WE addiction, though!
I might pick up a SpydieChef if they do a REALLY cool sprint run.

Just too many. I think in the interest of making it a more reasonable size, you should send me some. For you, I'm willing to make the sacrifice of taking them off your hands. My three are an orange Endura4 (with an aftermarket titanium deep carry pocket clip) , a blue Manix 2 lightweight, and an orange Dragonfly. I like the orange spideys.

Hey! Do you guys happen to know what they'll be changing about the techno to make the techno 2? I have an odd fixation on those chode-esque designs. Don't analyze that last sentence too deeply, there.
Anyway, I have the techno and while there's a long list of stuff I'd change about it, I just can't put it down either.
Was just curious if you knew what the new one might be like.
