Hearing the emotion in Ben's voice shows that he's not just a great lawyer, but a very caring man.
Yes. You can see throughout the case how much he loves his job and how he really chose to be a lawyer to do good.
Heard's lawyers struggling to defend her lies. She is destructive by nature. She doesnt like other people's sucess unless she has it. She should be done for Perjury along with her fake bruises, photos, lies!

The thing the hit me the most emotionally was hearing that Johnny endured so much abuse from his mother from a young age and STILL cared for his mother until her death. That speaks volumes to how much of a good man he is to the people that have treated him terribly.

He’s a carer, a giver…even with Kate Moss when she testified that when she FELL down the stairs, he rushed to her aid, carried her to her bed and called for medical assistance…but of course the ridiculous media reported that he pushed her down those stairs….JD is NOT an abuser, he is a survivor IMO!

Ben Chew got choked up during his closing and I felt it through my phone screen. I actually cried at work. I couldn’t help it. That moment hit me deeply. A grown man, a professional man, almost brought to tears for his client. He truly believes his client and truly wants to vindicate him. That speaks volumes to me.
Yea especially at the moment he talked about Depps kids, he choked up and had to pause. He must have kids too and feels his pain.
Man this got me teary eyed also because it was when talked about the kids and restoring his name. Ben Chew really cares about JD and just him wanting to clear his name. Closing was great but him getting choked up because he really he knows what he’s saying is what matters most to JD, not the money but clearing his name is the best part.
We can really see the difference between JD's and Amber's lawyers professionalism. We have never seen jd's lawyers beavering and using offensive and impolite verbal communication like Amber's (and herself) did. And for me that speaks more than 1000 words.

I can’t imagine watching my father go through something like this. Seeing him so tortured, knowing he is innocent. Johnny’s children should be very, very proud of their father. He is a good man, a loyal and generous friend, a brave man and a man who values the important things in life … namely honesty, friendship and truth.

I'm team on JD but TBH my 1st inclination would normally be to say that he wanted a chick half his age so immaturity comes with the territory. However AH is entering middle age, she's almost 40 years old and her behaviors never changed which is abnormal. Ben Chew became emotional in his closing. A seasoned attorney, getting emotional over a client? I think it comes from a place of wanting justice for a man, whom they obviously all care strongly about. I found it incredibly compelling.

Her saying "i faced our cultures wrath" was her pre-emptive strike at him defending himself. She implies him defending himself and telling the truth and her experiencing consequences of her lies is our cultures wrath. She'll prob keep trying to paint it that way. But i feel so strongly about this personally i will boycott any media that emboldens her lies and gives a voice to more defamation. If she continues defamation, then he should sue her again.

I am old as dirt. Grew up w a wife beater dad who used his belt on us and whipped the spirit out of me. I was a heroin addict off and on for over forty years. Served two years in jail.

Both Camille and Ben argue this closing beautifully! It is so carefully organized according to facts as each has arisen during the trial. They are an exceptional pair of lawyers and have worked with an exceptionally trained team of lawyers.
Alcohol and drugs can bring out ugly behavior. Though no one stated he raised his hand. The breaking things and slamming things preceded my fathers abuse. I believe otherwise he is a decent man, and I pray he remains clean. His kids deserve a clean dad. Amber’s child deserves a kind and gentle mother. It is scary she is raising a baby. He doesn’t deserve to loose more. For her to trash the me too movement is shameful. I too was victimized as a child. For her to fake rape is disgusting. The makers mark bottle has a waxed seal on the top of the bottle. That would have torn her up internally. To not seek medical attention, proves it is all a lie.

Ben is full of empathy, love, and care. People don't understand it's the closing argument that the jury decides on. And Ben a smart man, intelligent and wise just did that. It's the last closing argument and narrative that lets the Jury decide and how you tap into the Jurys soul and heart is the final argument. Ben just did that. He confessed about Johnny not being perfect and that is a winning strategy. He confessed that Johnny was sorry and isn't perfect and he said all Johnny wanted was to start a new life and be a good man. Ben and Camille just nailed it and I am in almost tears that Ben is such an amazing man. Johnny is just blessed to have a winning team on his side.
This always brings a tear to my eye. Ben Chew is a class act.
