7:50 Black is such a weird one in DBS cause it almost feels like 2 different colours stuck together. There's a large pool of the unique warp/overrealm stuff, a lot of super generic, easily splashable cards, and even some cards that appear to be designed to work specifically in other coloured decks. It's kinda like they couldn't decide if Black was gonna be it's own colour or the "colourless" colour of the game. If I remember right, no Black cards even had specified costs for a long time.

So if i have a son goku with two blue dots, do i need two blue energies to play him. My brother and i played against each other for the first time and he had a deck with three different colors, and i had a deck full of blue. As an example, he use a energy card that had one red dot to summon a battle card with one green dot. Is that allowed? It seems no one ever talks about. Or is that some old rule i’m thinking about
The dot that is there means you have to pay Those colors to fulfill the energy cost. So if a card cost five energies to play and it has two blue dots that means two of those energy have to be blue, the rest could be any color.
@@alano858 I think you should watch some gameplay videos. It will really help with learning the different phases of a turn and seeing some cards in action and how they work.

Green is Mid Range
Yellow is Control
Red is Aggro
