There has been many superman-like characters but my favorite is metro man and in this video I go over exactly why that is.

Metro man is so ridiculously faster than Nolan he wouldn't react fast enough before Metro man caved his skull in.
Metroman would stomp Omniman, seeing how fast he really is kind of hints that he is holding back a good amount of power.
Instead of a squeal is would be interesting to have a prequel staring Metroman of his rise to being a hero to the he figures out that this gig is nothing to him

Yep. Metroman has the speed of Red Rush, so even if his physical strength is significantly less it's still more than enough to absolutely body Omniman. And remember that Titan, whose powers were derived from Metroman's dandruff which surely dilutes the potency of the serum, was able to throw an entire skyscraper no problem.

Good thing that Metroman chose a a humble approach for that unitchable ego. The alternative could've gone to a complete totalitarian rule of humanity, or something similar to Dr. Manhattan.

Metroman is playing the same game as Megamind. He's not in it for his own ego, he's in it because he thinks it's what he's supposed to do. He knows that Megamind is just playing what he thinks is his part of the hero/villain game. These two are basically an offshoot of the Venture Brothers' concept of organized costumed aggression. Metroman has no problem letting Megamind win because he knows that he's not going to actually do anything bad really. He talks to Megamind as if they're old friends. He also knew that Megamind was destined to do more and be more than just the villain of the week. His 'retirement' was for the both of them to grow and become what they actually wanted to be.

Metro man is still one of my favorite characters in fiction solely just because Of how interesting of an idea he was, Megamind could’ve easily just made the Superman archetype into the main villain or just do what despicable me did and just make a even eviler villain for megamind to fight, but they didn’t, they made a morally grey Superman who does care for people, but also has a Pitt of an ego, but also wasn’t really given the chance to be something he really wanted, I love how he kinda is the same character as Megamind as well, both being corny golden age Superhero inspired characters with genres of music they like, and both were never really got to be who they really wanted to be

Metro man has strength, durability and flight speed on par with Omni man, and with his broken super speed, there really isn’t much Omni man can do, not even mentioning metro man’s other abilities.Omni man fought a speedster before, and was able to beat him, but that’s just because he was physically much more powerful than him. That leads me to believe Metro man could beat Omni man in a fight.

The difference between Metroman and Superman is Superman helps people because he wants to. He is just a good person. Metroman did it for the attention, yes, but also because he saw it as a dead end job that he couldn't escape from for as long as he lived. That's why metroman wanted to escape, while superman would never try to escape. Because superman isn't in it for the attention. He's in it for truth, justice, and a brighter tomorrow.

Is someone obligated to save a life if they could do it with ease? The answer is no, but that person is trash if they don't but you aren't required to not be trash.
I'd say the biggest issue with Metroman is that his speed makes him seem even more selfish. He's so fast, he could probably end every crime the second it started. Meaning he could play super hero, all over the planet, and then still live his life however he wished with single second intervals (likely less than a second to be honest). So really not being a hero or saving a life is the equivelant of seeing a stroller in the middle of the woods and just leaving it there even though you could save it easily.
Technically you aren't obligated, but you are trash/evil if you didn't.
Now superheroes without FTL there's more sacrifice, but even then it just ends up with. Are you the type of person who could live knowing your inaction is the cause of a family being in a funeral, another orphan, another tragedy. If you can say yes, well, not much to say. That's why hedonism is not respectable. People should strive to be better. The more gifts you have, the more responsibility you have. Don't make me quote Ben, we all know it.

Metroman and Omniman are at the same level of power as One Punch Man and popeye, where they are both so powerful they literally ignore the hard solid laws of physics. Metroman is the truly realistic superman. He's by no means cruel or evil. But he is by no means an angel either.

Omniman sleeps Metroman. His overall stats are all above Metroman's and yes even speed. Omniman and his race regularly travel between solar systems through their own flight capabilities. People really love to hype Metroman's slow motion scene not understanding that anyone that's faster than sound would have the same perception on reality.
Imo him doing music makes more sense when you realise you can't just superspeed through practicing guitar. Sound waves have a set speed, so Metro Man had to practice on a slow pace, and not immediately be a master at it. Which is something that he needed when most of his life is him riding easy.
Also, Omni Man would lose to Tighten.
Well, i don't think he's evil, but he's no hero neither. I mean, i like to think that he was just waiting for Megamind to defeat Titan on his own and if he failed, he was going to do it. But still, he let Titan destroy the city. It's not like Spiderman, who says "If you could do the thing that i do, but you don't. And then the bad things happen, they happen because of you".
