After reading the novel, I was dreading this final confrontation between Khun Nueng and her grandma. I'm relieved she doesn't say all those horribly mean things. In the series she behaves just petty enough to justify the guilt she feels later on, but not as annoyingly childish as in the novel. Khun Nueng is a much more likeable character here. Well, and I suppose Faye's beautiful face helps lol
