  • Many of us don't understand Arabic. In that case, would it be better to recite the Qur'an in Arabic despite not knowing what is being recited, or should we just read the translation?
    The Qur'an is the book of Allah and the speech of Allah. Allah describes it as a mubarak book, meaning it is a source of endless benefit. Its mere recitation can also bring rewards to a person, since we are rewarded for every single letter of Qur'an that is read and recited.
    Ustadha Taimiyyah Zubair explains and further answers the question.

    "The example of a Believer who recites the Qur'an, is that of a citron which smells good and tastes good; And the example of a Believer who does not recite the Qur'an, is that of a date which has no smell but tastes sweet" (Bukhari)

    Can you please explain, non-arabs In Ramadan recite Quran without meaning, do they get the reward? From my understanding If you reciting the book of Allah subhanahu talah and don't even know the meaning of the verses then how come you get the guidance?

      Yes, you do get reward just for reciting Quran without actually understanding it.

      @@FaithIQOfficial That makes little sense. How do you rationalise that and what scripture are you basing it on?

    Does a traveller have to pray Jumah?

    • @FaithIQOfficial
      @FaithIQOfficial  Před 5 lety +4

      Travellers are not required to pray jumuah but the reward for jumuah is still there. If they doesn't pray Jumuah they still have to offer traveller's dhuhr salah.
