This is an older hotel but in very good shape. We were upgraded to a nice big room, with a big comfortable bed, but sadly only 2 small pillows. We only stayed here for 1 night but we enjoyed our time here. Customer service was very good, check-in was easy, and there is lots of parking. There was a fruit basket waiting for us in the room when we got there. The only downside I could find with the hotel is its age, some things like the windows look very old, but everything worked, so it is not an issue at all. We had a very good night here and a very delicious breakfast with so much selection I did not even look at it all.

Great video! The Empress Chiang Mai Hotel is a very good hotel. Stayed at that hotel in late July 2019. I was very impressed with this old hotel because it is well maintained. The customer service was beyond my expectations. A great hotel that keeps the guest coming back.

Very nice review clip. Thanks. I stayed in this hotel in 2007 and loved the place. Even though it looks a bit dated now but it has not lost its charm. If I am back to Chiang Mai I would stay there again.
It is dated but overall it is an OK hotel, I would be happy to stay here again aswell.

It is a good hotel, better then sone I manage to find.
Thanks for sharing! The hotel looks great even with somewhat hard bed and only one pillow. Ample parking, swimming pool, large breakfast selection, clean room, well maintained and good costumer service is a huge plus in my book.

Old but very nice. To be honest, for an upgrade to a deluxe I might expect a little more or a little larger room but as you said, it serves its purpose. I'd stay there for sure. Great review 👍💛
