@KristianDabeski Chillwells good... I think we're being really unfair to someone who tore his acl. A very difficult obstacle to overcome. He's a great player and gives his all every performance. He hasn't really put a foot wrong defensively either. Left backs aren't common these days

3 at the back worked when we had prime Reece and chilwell as wingbacks. Granted gusto would probably be a great option, chilwell is a shadow of his former self so we have nobody to make it work on the left side
I don't think it was the 343 that people were tired of. It was more like we didn't have the players for the formation available and Tuchel was constantly putting square pegs in round holes rather than temporarily switching to something that goes with the available players.
They were forsing that "one extra attacker" narrative whilst we were really comfortable and defensively super solid, attack could never work with players like timo and kai ... Shame we didn't spend at least a third of that billion on Tuchel but our smart owners spent it on potter 🤬

Our recruitment and our model to only buy kids is a big problem and I don´t think any manager can do anything with this team. I just look at Noni after we lose a semi-final and he jokes around as soon as the game is over and the game before that he trys to take a pen from Palmer that says everything.
At this time we should just get Fabregas as the manager. He will be cheaper to get and it seems like he is very tactically sound as well.

Tactics aren't enough if the players do not have the experience and intelligence to implement them.
Exactly. No one could immediately succeed with this group. It will take time to implement a system that works with this team, train the players to perform in that system, and finally succeed.
Lampard said the same thing before he was sacked. 5 months later, this team that wasn't ready to compete won the European Cup.

@@ThatOneDude6009The team which you are talking about has plenty of experienced players with the added academy products. Nowdays team is full with other clubs targets which are young, with very little experience and on 8+ years long contracts. In short, forget about it.
Two main questions. We're not even approaching Amorim. So why?
And mainly, number two, we have a manager who has issues setting up a rest defense and has been bailed out by an individual. What's the actual point of getting another manager, who's biggest weakness is also setting up a rest defense and is being held at the top of Portuguese league by Gyokeres? Gyokeres alone has a higher market value than the fourth most valuable squad in the league put together.
Amorim is not the answer to the Poch question. It's just the "Anyone but this manager" approach that made us worse under Lampard than we were with Potter. No due diligence, just vibes.
I like the idea of Pedro Gončalves but one player who could be an amazing signing who is used to a 3-4-3 and is versatile is federico DiMarco at Inter

There isn’t a lineup we could put out that would with all our injuries. Not a defence of Poch but it’s the medical team that need replacing (again) if we’re to stand a chance.
Chelsea's problem isn't in the manager and/or tactics [I know many will disagree]. But It falls into the immature mentality of the players. Our captain for the majority of the season is only 25 years of age, and lacks leadership [evident by the penalty clash].
We need a leader in the defense [Terry-like] to organize the back half, and a leader in the midfield [Lampard-like] for the front half and they would orchestrate the play, in addition to a genuine striker [Costa or Drogba - like] given Jackson reminds me of Anelka as 9.5 position and would shine in a supporting role rather than a pure striker. We already have a Hazard in Palmer, and a Robben in Madueke
We need maturity and experience
You don't know what you are taking about, The manager is 100 percent the problem because he doesn't add anything to what the players do on the field and also makes unnecessary changes to cost the team at times

The only thing that concerns me about that team is Nkunku, Chilwell and James. They will be fit about 10% of the time so we need to make sure there’s suitable alternatives

The idea of this formation even if we don’t get Amorim and slot in Fofana and a striker signing is exciting. No need to spend the rest of this season being negative when we can look to bounce back with a healthy squad and new look next year
The problem in this list is 2 players yet to be signed, 3 players yet to become capable of playing more then 10 games per season due to their injury proneness + 1 goalkeeper playing exhibition games in moscow is a meh asset

If we get Amorim, Gyokeres and Diomande along with a fit current squad for next season then top four is guaranteed if not EPL title.
Absolutely love the idea of Amorim, was gutted when i thought he was going to Liverpool. The fact he'd bring some top players with him excites me as well as his style of play and ability to work with young players. The formation you chose just looks amazing, we've always had success with coaches that play 3 at the back so i agree, sign him up!

Without a proper #9 and a goal keeper it doesn’t really matter who the gaffer is.
We have to be serious ín these areas i agree. For striker we must sign osimhen or Isak. For goalkeeper we must sign Costa or Maignan. We also must sign a left back but i prefer keep maatsen and sell chilwell. That way we can focus on the 2 areas u mentioned
If I want a team that can win a premier league I wouldn’t even consider a Coach that:
•Doesn’t have premier league experience and success or
•Doesn’t have a title in one of the top leagues in europe.

I would play Petrovic in Goal a back three of Colwill in Left centre back,Disasi through the center and Diomande on the right side of the back three, In midfield i would play Gallagher as Amorin likes to play a high press he would suit that as he presses alot and I would play Caicedobeside him and Cucarella in a left mid becuase he is way more attacking than Chillwell and Gusto on the right. My front three would be Palmer,Gÿorkerers and Nkunku so my team is

Amorim has said he will announce where hes going on sunday after the porto game which is presumed sporting will clinch the title. Record also said he met another mystery club in london that same night btw.
I would take Conte in a heartbeat. Let him buy three players he wants and sell 5-6-7 of the dregs we have now. He is a hard and disciplined man just what these children need. And obviously fire the medical staff
Amorium is the same age as Thiago silva ,its his first big club job and it's the toughest job possible . He has only won things in the Portugal league , I dont want to hate on him but he didn't even won europa . If Poch is to stay, a formation change and squad with experience who can adapt is imperative. Needs to get in players to fit the main system. We shouldn't be playing out of natural positions to make it fit l.

I think we’ve wasted our money on two very young midfielders. I think the answer to the midfield was there all along, I believe Reece James should be a midfielder where he can truly lead, defend like Makélélé and get the ball forward whilst getting some goals too. Obviously if stays fit.

We need a 4 4 2 with Jackson Mudryk at the top. They play kick and run because they have speed. Our defense has to kick out of the back because they can't do anything else. The least of Chelsea problems are the managers, the players are too average. They pose no scare to their opponents. But you can't build a team involving James,Chilwell. They too injury prone
Tbh despite the other nights result, we have made improvements this season over last season and I genuinely think Poch should stay. He’s done way better this season with what is essentially a brand new team with what 4 (if you include Saltor,) couldn’t do with a mostly established team last season. If you look at most teams with a high manager turnover, aside from us over the years, it generally doesn’t work out well. Anyone would think we’re in a relegation battle 🙄

I am not a fan of 3-4-3. But if that is the formation, and we are gonna have the equipment, why not bringing Antomio Conte back? He has enough experience now after chelsea and tottenham, and if he has the players he can be competetive. Just just imagine that right side you mentioned playing for Conte.

@GBFC th3 only i disagree with is your assessment of Cucurella's performance against Arsenal. He did the best he could dealing with 2 attackers because of Murdryk. If you watch the highlights, anytime they score from the right both Murdryk and Sterling almost never tracked back and tag a man. They let them overload on the right and leaving Marc alone to deal with them. Its those 2 lazy, players in the front that ultimately costed us the game because they allowed so much pressure to happen without helping to relieve it.
