If advocacy for the humanity of an oppressed people irks you because you like to enjoy your techno in peace, remember that this same freedom is not afforded to the folks whose right to exist we are trying to affirm.

​@@simonmasset2238it's a completely fair and valid critique to ask what this form of advocacy actually achieves or aims to achieve, beyond mere signalling. But my perspective is that the more that the culture affirms the right for Palestinians to live and not be slaughtered, the better.

@@parristaylor indeed, but those music were talking about these issues, for example rebel music of the south America or revolutionary songs of Italy, etc..., here it's put like a brand and nothing else, it's not even mixed with Palestinian music or song, or based on the sale rythmics, which would have been a logical thing to do in that case
Nonetheless this conflict is far more complicated than "side 1 takes freedom of side 2", we should be for side 2 because it's the underdog while most of us are completely uninformed on the matter
Also what about the Israeli people getting slaughtered ? That's the issue from siding in that conflit, we take a side to vouch for instead of advocating for a peace of both sides
