I remember playing this for my mother of our daughter before we started dating back 2013. 6 years together for her to cheat on me and her new guy beat her with a bat and put her in the hospital. I thank God she’s still alive and is going to be there for our daughter. I love her so much and forgive her but I can’t literally love her again.Even tho she wants us to get together again.
She’s hurt me so many times. That I asked God if she’s not the one give me a sign and I got so many signs thru out the 6 years. Now again I’m just focusing on myself and getting a career started so I can make sure my daughter has what she needs.

I was born in 97, and I know every generation says this, but I really believe we grew up in the best era. To be 10 years old when the first iphone came out and going through school at the dawn of social media, youtube and being able to listen to an infinite amount of music from all sorts of places, it was magic. Every time I see even the stupidest trends like the word "swag" or obnoxious snapbacks it still gives me that warm nostalgic feeling. I can feel myself at a house party listening to Blink-182 or being at the skate park at sunset listening to Mac Miller. This song specifically reminds me of the glory days of amateur content creation; when kids didn't care what anyone thought of them and just uploaded 144p clips ripped from an ebay'd elgato of their PS3 Modern Warfare 2 trickshots with this song played over it. We even thought 2012 was going to be the end of the world and it was just an innocent bit of viral fun, not the depressing misinformation sludge and running commentary of bullshit we have today. It was a beautiful time to be alive and someday I wish someone would host a big 2010 forever event where we all show up dressed awful, the girls' makeup doesn't match the colour of their neck, the guys are all in ridiculous skinny jeans - and we just have a good time to music like this. Wherever you all ended up in life we're all gonna be okay

In my dreams, he is so much happier & healthier! When I think back to the days of his addiction, he was suffering silently. I would not want him to suffer more. I just wish he was more honest with me, but I believe he did that because he didn’t want me to worry, he never meant to hurt me. If I was in the same boat as him, I would do the same. We all have people come into our lives for a reason. Everybody is a lesson. It sounds a little harsh, but I never saw myself coming this far without him. I realized he is still around me, spiritually. I have notes, text messages & DMs from him. He did love me. Addiction is a disease. Some make it and some don’t. It’s sad, very sad💔 I never imagined going through this. I never watched someone go through addiction, I never planned a funeral before, I never had to bury someone I love close to my heart. It just shows how much love there was in the relationship. I’m sure your other half never meant to hurt you. He loved you! My spouse always said “you deserve better” whether that be relationship wise or just taking care of yourself, we spend our days worrying & caring for them. They know it shouldn’t be that way. I believe that’s why my spouse said that to me. I will never love someone as much as I do with him. But live for him! Do the things he wanted to do! Because someday it’s gonna be your time. Truth is... there is this girl who I dated a month back.. We dated for about 2 months, I got insanely hooked on her. No one understood why because she wasn't the best girlfriend. But she ended up dumping me because we had troubles between her best "gay" friend and I because there was some things that didn't make sense, that didn't make me feel comfortable about them. Now, I can't stop thinking about her, Its hard for me to even try with another girl because they aren't her. I hate that but this song shows mostly how I feel about it. I never thought I would get on without her after we broke up, but I can and you can too. Just got to discover what you love about yourself. Songs like this really don't help that so I'd suggest staying away from it. I had to delete my entire songlist because I had sooo many that her and I used to stay up every night listening to. Since then, Linkin Park has become my favorite band. I feel like their lyrics are aligned with my life, feelings, and emotions. Fav band for life.
