Wellness Tourism is a thrust area for the Govt of India and following its footsteps Uttar Pradesh Government too intends to bring wellness as one of the focus areas.
Govt of Uttar Pradesh conducted a symposium on 'Wellness Tourism' to understand best practices of other states, see case studies and projects being implemented in other states. It was a brain storming session by experts drawn from different parts of India who converged in Lucknow to talk about the subject.
