Man, where did you get that photo around 4:11? I'd never seen that before. And for those who aren't aware, those blurry figures are George, Stuart and Paul. And thank you for posting this extended version.
@@harrythomas1252 It's not the album cover from the 1975 official release of Rock 'n' Roll. That is a different shot, with the blurry George Harrison right in front of the doorway.
You mean.... Right after he talks about someone wearing a man's clothes? Having trouble with his zipper? Hmmm. For that matter, who was the entire desperately miserable drunk version for? The John/Paul madness always rearing it's ugly head. And yet.... No one talks about it!!?? I quote John, himself, "How come no one ever asked what's going on backstage? What is this John and Paul business?"

I bought this album as a kid, it was about 4 years after it was released. It blew me away, his vocals were amazing.
I like how Phil Spector use two basses. He and john made some of the best music together.
I think Phil Spector got the best performances out of every singer and musician he worked with.
I miss you John, R.I.P.

My late husband and I were both Beatles freaks. I rushed to the record store to get this album as a present for him when it came out
I love the little remaining fragment of the 'drunk' vocal at the end. I wish that entire version was available in this kind of quality.
For the record, John was 18 when the Lloyd Price song came out. He was neither 13, 14, 22, or 12 years old 😂
Who cares shut up
He was a little bit tipsy, wasn't he?
Who gives a fuck- he was a genius.

We used to play this LP on an old Danset when I worked near Leicester Square back in the 70s. Magic days.
My favourite Singer of all time.
That shout out to the others was new to me too . Nice .

Meravigliosa! ❤👏👏👏🎼🤗
That mix is awesome!!
It was Phil Spector who played this song for John who never heard it before! And he knew songs like a jukebox!
Do you know which version was played for him? I’ve heard versions by Don Costa and Lloyd Price.
@@Justagirl08 i believe it was Lloyd prices' version
Spector could sure produce a tune. Shame he was out of his box.
Absolute musical genius, what shame, what a waste. I remember it like yesterday.
Just a shame that he presented himself as the people's choice but he actually came from a very privileged background.

John Lennon is a true rockstar! He could have been bigger than his band the beatles after disbanding if not for that psycho C
Sounds like a combination of Don’t Let Me Down and Oh Darling.

John Lennon’s “Rock ‘N’ Roll”.
