Speaking of Black Women, the murder of Sonya Massey has impacted me like no other. We must protect our peace but the news showed the brutal footage so many times as if it were just a movie trailer as opposed to the real life senseless slaughter of black woman at the hands of police. I am a pacifist and to see that violence made me scream and cry. I was shaking and my heart is broken. How many times must we be subjected to this type of trauma?

I grew up in Williamsburg many years ago. Pre-gentrification. Worked steps from The Arlo, which once was called The Williamsburg. I hate the gentrification, but it’s a vibe. I’m enjoying seeing all my faves in my beloved hometown. The Pandora event looked fabulous. Was out of town when Monroe had her event or I would have pulled up for sure.

As for Ferragamo, it's the best! I have had a soft spot for Ferragamo since I was in my late 20s and am now in my 60s. I used to go to the boutique to buy pumps back in my younger days and later a lot of Ferragamo handbags. The sales associates were always kind, patient, and helpful. Down to earth. I still buy Ferragamo. And what Max has been doing for the collections has been both fresh and exciting! I watched the 2024/2025 fashion show here on CZcams just this morning.
L.A. had a very strong connection with Ferragamo as Salvatore lived in both Santa Barbara and here in Los Angeles and even attended USC to study anatomy in order to make more comfortable shoes. Then, at some point, he decided to move back to Italy to start his company which was the year that my mom was born and she's close to a hundred now.
