Very scary and dangerous waves! My goodness, this were huge waves in a very rough sea. Just amazing how these ships managed to stay afloat! That’s impressive.
I actually miss the Yo Ho Music when watching this
You have no idea how dangerous the ocean is until you’ve been humbled by it
Amazing 👏
Putting their lives at risk...
I learned a large percentage of container ships never make their destinations...many sink or run into troubles at sea
Pray for those at sea or anyone in troubles or sank
God has answered my prayers and others in this...rescues
Praises to God. Hallelujah Amen ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Always find it so fascinating watching the seas like this!
It's amazing how much these ships are able to deal with, awesome video!!!
Thanks a lot!
One of my biggest fears or phobia is being on a boat/ship during bad weather with massive waves. chillbumps
So if you see a ship going past, give a big wave
😂
I worked on anchor tenders for many years. While I miss the open ocean I do not miss massive waves
I worked on longliners in the Bering Sea for 7 years and I can agree with you there. We CONSISTENTLY dealt with 40 footers in A season (January and February) almost daily. Only twice in my career did we stop fishing because of shitty weather. But my original boat the Endeavor is a tank and will sail through almost anything. She's an old mud boat that had been converted to a longliner. This past A season my brother was fishing on it and they took a wave that knocked out all the windows in the wheel house. They sailed back to Dutch for three days with no electricity and no radios. They had to use Starlink phone system to navigate back south to Dutch Harbor. I was also told by an old school teacher of mine that, that boat rolled all the way over to past 50 degrees and roll right back and righted herself. Not one single man has ever died off of her. She's a 124' tank of a boat.
I lived on a ship once it was called the "Caribbean Mercy" an ocean going vessel used by Mercy Ships. The Waves in this video are large but hardly life threatening. The film "The Perfect Storm" now that is a guaranteed trip to the bottom. We got into some waves but it was fun not really frightening as you might think.
Just wait till the boat pitches over past 45°. Then you'll be scared. Ask me how I know
@@Mr._Infamous......please do sir!!!
@@michellemiller4742 because I've been on open water in really bad storms and have been on boats that I was concerned might not right itself.
I've been in some really bad storms working in the Bering Sea for 7 years
Couldn't think of anything worse .Nightmare.
massive and dangerous waves, how much these ships are able to deal with, that's incredible
Indeed. I am simply amazed at how they usually manage to avoid ' breaking their backs ' as the saying goes. Of course, they don't win every time, and that is when we see the sad sight of the ship broken into two pieces amidships. This is very often a worst-case scenario for the crew as well as the vessel because of the horrifying difficulties of rescue in appalling weather conditions.
Blessings 🎉great video thrilling
Im sure seconds felt like days and they were on them for an eternity
The North Sea should be renamed to the Sea of Death ! 😰🌊
I always wonder how much smaller vessels like, say, a 30ft sailing yacht would cope….
I mean once you’re out there I bet you can’t always avoid getting caught out!!??
I’ld love to see footage of smaller vessels in these conditions!!
That would be a 2 second clip….
@@pegKrobertsonnot if the boat doesn't lose power and has a company Helmsman
Captain, we need a bigger ship!
Those waves look like the ones your mom makes when she gets in the tub
How do ships maintain forward movement in waves like these?
Hahahahaha ever heard of propulsion? It's because of diesel electric hybrid engines that turn propellers
Is that it? Not a Force 12 in sight.
These vids would be even better without the narration!
What's wrong with the narration
@@Scarlett.begonia I don't think it's necessary and the accent is ridiculous! 🤣
At least it only intros the vids. Most talk thru them.
You can't drive in weather like that! But under way....
Yeah I've heard that before.
"Oh you guys don't want to go out in weather like that"
My capitan : "THROW LINES"
All Admiral window panels blown in with one wave and washed out the entire bridge and electronics panel in one splash. Oops
Never made it down to,the captains bridge that day.
That's exactly what happened to the boat my brother is on in the Bering Sea last January
Why would anyone add MUSIC over the sound of the ships creaking and the waves crashing? Killed the video… all of them! 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤡
Me likey the orgasmic laugh in #5,
Meeeeaoow~
METER ?????
Did I hear snoring in the 2nd clip?

Apart from the tanker, these are pretty mediocre seas.
So say you with feet firmly planted on terra firma 😂 I'm in awe
@@sherrygriffin9320 yeah, look at the 100ft wave North sea, that was a ship I served on. Still at sea, 40 yrs service.
@@paulmahy I salute u 👏 💯 stay safe
And these arent even Rouge waves.
Was that a whale??
No it's just slightly above average but thanks for asking
Been there, not very funny ... Anybody who knows what musician/song is playing in the last clip ? Got some ideas when am plying with my instruments ....
It’s Not in Vain (by: They Dream by Day). Cheers
These are not ship waves.

I’d have to make sure I have plenty of depends 💩💩💩💩💩
Sorry, didn't like the video and the stupid music.
If this ship nearly sank here, then it assuredly it would have in what we just sa.
