  • It was such a treat to see this footballer being himself. He never comes on to any talk shows. It was a rare look into this guys psyche. Suga is providing a very rare place for those who are very difficult to see in talk shows. COOL~~

Thanks for sharing your experiences regarding your anxiety in social situations. Awesome to hear that you overcame it but understandable if you never ended up enjoying it! I am very much the same and have to present to strangers on a daily basis but used to have panic attacks at the thought of it.
But being introverted is not the same as feeling anxious in social situations, but its more of a spectrum of how much an individual needs social interactions and where they get their energy from. Extroverted people can still experience debilitating social anxiety. Suga talks about needing a lot of alone time in order to protect his peace and being around others too long can be draining - so it sounds like you had a similar idea of him! But different social situations affect us all differently and there's not a lot of scientific evidence to back this as it doesn't grasp the full picture so its more of an shared observation that can help us understand ourselves better - hence peoples MBTIs change over time :)

As someone who played softball since elementary my last tournament is the state level under 18 when I'm 17 and after that I can't really do sports anymore because of a torn ligament on my knee and some problems with my knee cartilage so I get what you said. I'm 22 but can't really do anything about sports anymore and just focusing on my recovery and just focusing on my study but it is a shame that I can't get the young coach certificate that my coach wants me to.

Interesting your thoughts on Yoongi and you (and others) thinking how he might be like in front of people...I think this kind of comes from people misunderstanding introverts. Introverts are all different but the thing they have in common is when more they are around people and interact with people throughout the day, they the loose energy and need to recharge when they get home. Some introverts take a few hours, but some take days...it also depends on how much they were around people...I consider myself and introvert, but I have been in front of an audience most of my childhood to now, from elementary school to middle school to high school to college to church, etc. I have been in choir, bands, play pianos, been in plays, etc. So, for me being in front of larger audiences doing something I love doesn't make me super sacred or super nervous (it also depends on how much I am prepared) ...I play pre-lude for my church every Sunday and I honestly don't really get nervous at all...I do think Yoongi gets shy but like me depends on the situation and who I am around and if I am comfortable.
Thank you for sharing part of your story. I personally have a hard time with public speaking, which is weird. I can sing, play piano, act and be perfectly fine but if I have to give a speech then nerves go up WAY more.
Messing up lyrics and normal. They are human, that actually makes them more likeable and relatable...p.s ARMY at Suga's concert when singing Seesaw sang one part wrong and it was actually really funny lol, I think it was supposed to the be outro, but they sang the chorus...
