I loved the concept of it, when I first saw them in UK in the 1990s
My old house in Moscow had one, fully integrated into house, with proper roof and brick walls and rest in glass, but no heating, so used it 8 out of 12 months and in winter as storage to my lemon trees at 5C degrees.
Now am looking at house to buy just outside Moscow, smaller than 200 m2, but would add a huge glass thing, perhaps in two sections, both as winter hardened conservatory to enlarge living room and as a winter storage for plants, but also partly as a greenhouse for tomatoes, egg plants and other heat loving veggies

as a resident of Russia.. I hope the state will make a road someday... yes, we live under capitalism.. but this is not a problem of just one place... and I can imagine how difficult it is to drive a car in winter when there is a lot of snow..

Will that terrace roof be ok in the winter when it's covered in snow?
Yes absolutely, firstly it’s constructed with reinforced concrete and second, we do not get snowfall anywhere near as heavy as other regions. Many houses with terraces down here 😉

Thank you, no real idea on value to be honest as it isn’t for sale, but I’d guess at somewhere between 15-20 mil roubles,but that’s a complete guess. Colours are specific to this development choice of roof colour and size/style of house, you start there and then modify and alter as you want. Internally our house is completely different, we re-designed it to suit us.

Southern Russia doesn’t have the snowfall the rest of Russia has. No need for snow melting system 😊

So, as I’ve said in one of my videos on house price, the cost is very region specific. But I would say it’s 3-4 times more expensive in the Uk.

Я живу не далеко от этого места, и могу предположить что такой дом, в конкретно этой местности будет стоить около 200 000$. С учётом бассейна и благоустройства территории может быть около 250 000$. Это цена на 2024 год с внутренней отделкой.

Our labor costs is about $128 usd an hour. I sold my home in 2018. I was a single man at the time and got tired of upkeeping a 278.7 square meter upstairs and the same amount of space for the basement plus 3 lots of land. Lately, I've been looking into tiny homes.
I have trip planned in 2025 to visit with Sam and 3 other friends in Russia. From what i understand house prices and land are not as expensive as the US so something for me to think about or "food for thought" as we say here.
